Sorry I missed the deadline...internet was out at my house, and my dog ate my phone charger, so I couldn't even use my phone. Lol. But I guess that gives me a little more time to get back on track! Congrats to all our losers this week. Red team is really kicking butt!! :carrot:
|
Oh dumb me just realized you guys post chats! Lol yay for honorable mention! I finally seen 220's this week! But gained back with traveling over the weekend! So hopefully next weeks weights will show the 220's!
|
woohoo red team!! way to go on another good week!! hard to believe its week 9 already!! hope everyone stays focused and on track!! lets win another week!!!
|
Great job everyone! I ate a few things this past weekend that I haven't had in months and it didn't seem to hurt. Probably all the walking in shipshewana.
|
Woohoo, rwquilts!
Nice job hahnj and rosa, too! :D Let's keep this train rolling, red team! |
OMg, this week is screaming by at an unstoppable pace. Make it stop!
Just crawling into bed after helping daughter with her math. Hahnj- welcome! Gess I'm the bad leader, for not sending more PM's to get people to participate. To many irons in the fire, my apologies. Got my workout in today. Walked the kids to school, then went back home & headed into work. Walked the stairs at work twice, walked the dog when we got home from work and then walked my daughter to dance, then came home, then went back to pick her up. we're talking 19,000 steps! We got about 6" of snow overnight and you forget how hard it is to trudge though it. Hoe I can move tomorrow. Okay off to bed, I'll try to do personals tomorrow, night all! |
mel.....snow!! oooh dear...i just had a picnic at the beach with my toes in the sand!!! i could so not wrap my head around snow in october!! haha
brrrr!! double kudos to you for all that walking AND IN SNOW!! :cp: |
Well yesterday seemed like the day would never end, due to workload & activities. Not sure today is much better- but it's Thursday already?! Yikes.
Snow is still here, I'm not amused. Note to self: must find new location to live with milder winters!lol With Halloween right around the corner , I'm going to play the devils advocate, what is your favorite Halloween candy? I love candy corn, but it's difficult to find here, or maybe I don't look hard enough? Which is likely a good thing. I also like tootsie rolls. Hope everyone has been having a good week. Make positive choices! |
hope everyone is having a great week!!!

Victoria has very mild winters (thankfully), but you need to loooove rain  My fave Halloween candy is tootsie rolls as well. My daughter doesn't like them, so I am hoping she gets a couple that I can have ;) We had a family portrait session done at the ocean on Sunday and we got a few of the proofs today and they are BEAUTIFUL! Probably the best photo of my the 3 of us and my partner and I ever! I can't wait to see the rest. I have also made an appointment to try on wedding dresses in Vancouver on November 17th. They have a bridal salon there with all plus sized samples (one of the only places in Canada like that) and I am soooo excited! Here's to another great week! |
Wow, it's Thursday already!
Mel, I am totally a chocolate girl. And a peanut butter girl. So Reese's peanut butter cups and peanut butter pumpkins are by far my favorite. I get few (if any) trick or treaters, and I'm debating whether or not to even buy any Halloween candy this year. Well I think the universe rewarded me for sticking with my friend at the 5k race on Saturday. When I ran on Tuesday, I was almost 2 minutes faster than last week! But no exercise yesterday - I had a Medifast meeting right after work, and didn't get home til after 10pm. By the time I made today's lunch it was almost 11, so I just went to bed. Oh well. Tomorrow is kick-a** hot yoga class. I haven't had a Friday off in 4 weeks, and I can't wait to take this class again. :whoo::whoo::whoo::yoga::whoo::whoo::whoo: |

You go, girl!!! Just got back from hot yoga. I really love the yoga studio. I feel STRONG when I'm done. :D |
WOW- Go Team Red!!!
Workout Friday Girls. You've inspired me to do another set of stairs. Hope everyone is having a great Friday!! |
 everyone
Great job last week team! Congratulations to rwquilts, hahnj, Rosa and Riddy :cheer: I have gotten myself back on track and I am feeling really good. I have done a lot of thinking lately about why I struggle so much with staying on track, and I realized one of the main reasons is that I have an "all or nothing" attitude. I've always known this about myself and there have been times where I think I have overcome it, but eventually I always sabotage myself with negative self-talk. So, this past week I have gone back to taking baby steps and it seems to be working. I am constantly reminding myself that I don't have to be perfect, just consistent. Mel - Great job with all that walking! Quote:
Rosa - You must be so excited to go wedding dress shopping! It's been 18 years for me but I remember how much fun I had finding the perfect dress. Good luck :) Riddy - I hardly get any trick-or-treaters at my house too. I usually just buy some candy that I don't like so I have some just in case, and that way if I end up with a lot of leftovers I'm not tempted to eat it. Rainbowsmiles - Great job on the :bike2: |
Sorry I have been MIA the last few weeks. Congrats to rwquilts for being the bigges loser this week and to the honourable mentions as well.
|
Way to go Mel - 19,000 steps. We got pedometers from work a couple months ago and the most I've logged is 14,000.
I was very disappointed at weigh-in on Tuesday as I gained a half pound, but when I weighed in today, I had a 2 lb loss, so, I'm back on track with only 2 lbs to go to be at my drivers license weight. |
Anyone else in Hurricane Sandy's track???
It was like a cage fight for water at the grocery store. YESTERDAY. But I got five gallons LOL. |
Oh yeah, it's Halloween week. As I've done the last few years, I've avoided buying any candy until I absolutely have to, maybe even on my way home from work on Halloween. Then, I'll try to give it all away, so I won't be tempted to eat them. Then there's the bowls of candy at work that I intend to just walk on past!! Good luck everyone.

My list of hurricane supplies:
Water Cat food Vodka I hope it doesn't screw everything up for the trick-or-treaters, though. :( |

Dammit, I'm back on my roller coaster. Up again this week.:mad::mad:
Looks like I won't get much lower before my big vacation in 2 weeks. I'm going to give myself permission to take a little break, drink whiskey every day, and hope that I return excited to get back to business. |
