WOW...didn't realize I didn't post my weight last week. I know I put it in the weekly chat....oh well....it doesn't matter. I just posted my loss for this week which is 5lbs!!....I am BELOW 250 and have made my ORIGINAL goal in 11 months!!....its a wonderful feeling that is for sure!

CanadaMel 03-29-2012 09:43 AM

Hello Luv!! Awesome job! You should be so proud. Does the IP plan have a 'phase' that allows your body to adjust to its new weight at various stages or do you lose the weight first and then go into maintenance?

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm spending a lot of time outside and at activities where there isn't wifi available so finding it challenging to get online. Oops

shanhat81 03-29-2012 11:03 AM

My apt building is having roof work done ... so every morning, we've awakened to "THUMP ... THUMP ... THUMP"

Loooooove-ly. At least it's gotten me outside, away from the noise.

shanhat81 03-30-2012 11:37 AM

Apparently, being woken up by thumps at 6 a.m. is conducive to weight loss -- 1.4 down.

HI Red Team,
I've had a busy week, Dad had an eye appointment and needed a driver, then I subbed for 2 days so I was gone for 3 days this week. After those 2 days I have so much respect for the full time teachers, if I had to deal with some of those kids on a daily basis I might get violent. It's not that many just a couple, but they are definatly pains. I sometimes worry about what DD will be like then but she is so sweet and quiet that my biggest fear is that she will get bullied but mostly it seems like she is the one they all like and protect, at least now.
I started making my own yogurt, DD eats a lot of it and takes it for lunch. It's easy and tastes good. I've been adding chocolate instant pudding to some and that's what DD is taking for lunch. I've been eating it plain with fruit and berries. I also tried making some cheese, it was a really good cream type cheese. I'll try making mozerella and then some hard cheeses next.

Wuv- Great job on reacvhing your first goal. You are doing so great!!!

Mel- I hope you enjoyed your Holiday. I never thought I would make it as an honorable mention by not losing anything.

Shanhat- I don't think I would like getting woke up at 6am by someone pounding on my roof either. But good job on the weight loss.

Have a great weekend everyone.
Bette K

Hello ladies. Good to see a few of us still checking in. Final days. Taking the kid to the zoo today which I am excited about.

In laws are in town, so we are off to museums and such!

Hi everyone,
I am so sorry that I haven't been checking in lately. I have been crazy busy and at times I have felt so overwhelmed. I am happy that I completed the challenge though. I ended up losing 6 pounds for the whole challenge, which I am happy about, but I know I could have lost a whole lot more, so I am disappointed in myself, but hopefully I'll do better next challenge!

Mel - Hope you enjoyed your vacation. Thank you for being such an awesome leader to the red team :thanks:

Congratulations everyone for finishing the challenge :bravo: I hope to see everyone next challenge :)
