Congrats to all the losers this week, TOM is over :) and I am hoping to losse this week.

Today is the first day of the learn to run clinic at the Running Room. I am also planning on going to the gym Tuesday and ideally for the rest of the week.

Sunday was incrdibly warm here in Kingston (Eastern Ontario). I did a bit of walking around, which was nice. The warm weather has put me in a healthy mood, if that makes sense. My plan food wise has been to have salads with chicken (on sale this week), fruit and a Green Drink. We will see how this goes.

CanadaMel Will there be another Biggest Loser challenge when this one ends?

Congrats to all the losers!!!

I went to this weirdo class on Sunday called Kangoo. It's like zumba meets step, but on bouncy moon boots.

Check out my kicks:

It was fun! You do a lot of running. And like do-si-do-ing, and side to side jumps, and ab work WITH THE BOOTS ON.

CanadaMel 03-20-2012 11:09 PM

Shanhat- I think I'd want a pillow tied to my butt as I'm afraid that's where I'd end up. But Awesome for you to try out something NEW!!!

Canuck girl, how'd the first group run go?

Thanks for asking about the next challenge.
Leslie(blue team leader) & I are discussing the next challenge. We'll likely have a mixed team chat Thread and have a spring challenge that will start in mid May. Stay tuned!

Hope everyone had a good Tuesday. I'm in count down mode to Spring Break on Friday :) Trying to get taxes done before that, not so much fun!

shanhat81 03-21-2012 11:20 AM

I'm telling you, you CANNOT fall in those things. Your instincts will push you to lean forward, which is how you balance.

This is coming from someone who pretty much lives life falling on her tush.

canuckgirl7 03-22-2012 07:17 AM

CanadaMel, the group running so far has been good. They are a nice group of people and the clinic leaders have a lot of energy, are funny and have been supportive so far.

Good to hear about the next challenge!

So the scale was finally, finally, finally starting to move down.

TOM showed up.

Doesn't matter if it's water weight or not . . it pulls my determination down, down, down. I'm over this whole TOM thing. Be gone, damn it!

Think I'm gonna scratch March right offa my books.

On the upside . . . I can do 10 real push ups (on mah toes) and can easily run for more than a mile now.

maryshady 03-23-2012 03:15 PM

My scale is finally headed in the right direction again. Hopefully it will be more by Sunday.

loose seal-I am with you on the TOM thing. Be gone already!!! Once you are done having kids you should be able to turn it off!

Shan-crazy but fun looking workout. Can't wait till my knee issue is resolved to start working out again.

Has anyone heard of the 17 day diet?

shanhat81 03-23-2012 04:40 PM

Ew, I gained 1.4. I've been feeling a little "off" this week, so I'm not that surprised. Just kinda blah.

I'm going to try limiting my dairy a little more this week -- I looked at my tracker, and I have to be having too much.

That class looks interesting!
Hope everyone continues to have awesome weigh ins :)

zogo 03-25-2012 01:13 AM

well, as the winner last week, I think I did my best for the month. I hope I can just maintain this week. It's kind of a roller coaster, this weight loss~
