Bobbi, you rock! That was a lot of people to mail! WTG on the stepper too!

Kelsey - I don't have any advise, because I haven't kept weight off long term.. but congrats on people noticing!! Just remember if you have cake, or something off plan, it doesn't mean your day, or diet is ruined. You can turn it around right then, you don't have to wait until tomorrow to get back on plan.

Lily on making 203, great job!

For Tuesday:
W - Water 130oz, I got to my goal, and told myself to do another cup
I - I am worth the effort it takes to get healthy
N - Nutrition - On Plan
T - time for you, relaxed and watched the Biggest Loser
E - Exercise 30 min strength training
R - Rest 8 hours

Well I got a new modem and router in one so we will soon see if that puts an end to the internet issues. I won't chat long as I have been going to bed way to late so I want to get to bed early tonight.

Bobbi - that is a lot of people to PM so I hope we get some good results from your efforts.

Congratulations to everyone who is posting the winter challange your all doing awesome just by posting you are staying accountable. Great job.

I have 2 more days of work then the weekend will consist of decluttering the rest of the house so it can go on the market and then I hope to spend time on me again......which in turn means focusing more on all of you as well.

Thanks for putting up with me and sorry I have not started the personals yet. Next week will be my week

Have a great night everyone.

Angela - stay safe and warm from that storm your getting

Hi all you True Blues:

Doing pretty well, still trying lots of recipes from Kalyn's Kitchen, they are so tasty. And even though some get a CalorieCount grade of C or even D, I'm still on plan and hitting most of my nutrient goals. Healthy eating is what its about and what I've heard repeatedly here and elsewhere - it's about a lifestyle change - something you can live with forever.

W - 50 oz.
I - I appreciate my team mates
N - OP
T - perusing new recipes online at leisure
E - 2 miles WATP - see, I kept my promise!
R - Good 7.5 hrs - even had dreams I remember (that of course made no sense!)

Congratulations to those who are seeing new low numbers and getting noticed. Definitely inspirational!!!

Kalyn's Kitchen is fantastic. Hubs and I eat almost exclusively from those recipes some weeks. My favorites are:
Balsamic and Onion Pot Roast
Baked Chicken with Curry Sauce
Tomorrow I'm gonna try her Pulled Pork and I'm super excited.

All her recipes are for South Beach Diet, and while they work well for other ways of eating too, you have to remember that SBD has specific nutritional goals that might or might not fit with what you want. For example, the chicken in curry sauce is probably quite a bit higher in fat (it has mayo and sour cream in large amounts) than some would want. I just pair it with some roasted broccoli, which I cook at the same time, and call it good.

And that roast is freakin awesome. I'd issue a team challenge to go try it ;-p

Yesterday was kinda meh. We haven't gotten the snowpocalypse here in NC, but it has been gray and dreary all week, and it's starting to get to me. I don't think I've seen the sun since last Saturday. Reminds me of the study abroad I spent in Russia...

This is for yesterday:
W - Water: Check and Check! all 100 oz. Assuming flavored water counts
I - I am strong, strong enough to not give up
N - Nutritionotally OP, though I was a bit low on veggies. Or food in general actually.
T - time for me... I tried to watch Top Chef last night, but I fell asleep before the Quickfire was over. So, I slept through my time for me >.< At least it's Tivo'd
E - Exercise: Well, I hiked all over campus, does that count?
R - Rest: Obviously. Since I slept through Top Chef =(

Hello Blue Team! I've been MIA for a few days. I spent the early part of the week preparing for the blizzard and just now finished digging out! We got 2' of snow and with the 50-70 mph winds, we had some major drifts. The snow was 5' deep in front of our garage door and front door! Then I had to dig out more 3'-4' drifts in our chicken pens. Needless to say my exercise for Tues, Wed and today was shoveling snow!

Shoveling was really bad this morning since it was -1 deg but felt like -17 with the wind chill. Right now I am just focused on getting warm again!!!

I didn't eat the greatest the past couple of days but today I am getting back on track!

Doesn't look like anyone wanted to take us up on the challenge offer. I'm thinking we can turn the loss of the Blue team members (Those that have been eliminated)into an advantage. Wouldn't our percentages get higher with just the folks left that really do want to lose. I don't know how the percentages work with the freebies, but with a strong team that's left, we should be able to rise our % higher than last week's of 19%.
I did get a return private message from River, she will join when she gets home. Tytbody said she was going to check us out.

W - water intake 1/2 my weigh = 62 oz. I drank much more.
I - I have lots of will power, made DH some gooey caramel pecan sweet rolls and didn't eat any. I'm not going to either
N - Nutrition, 751 calorie (so far) + 38 gram fiber
T - time for me.. I do Bible studies every morning, then read a few chapters in my mystery book.
E - Exercise: 5 minutes in am and 5 minutes pm on stepper (that's all my knees can take)
R - I had restless legs syndrome last night but still managed about 7 hours.

Hey, don't sell yourself short! I posted my WINTER challenge last night because of your PM! And I thank you, because it made me realize my water intake was not where it should be. I'm doing much better today.

Speaking of better, I've reached a new low (weight-wise, I mean!). I really feel that this time I'm actually going to get to my goal weight. I just have to keep going and not get distracted.
