I Worked out tonight! Woo-hoo! Has anyone done water aerobics? I am thinking about signing up, but am wondering how good of a workout it really is. |

Alright, I'm taking up Jillian Michaels' challenge this week to burn 300 calories each day and did it today by playing Just Dance for an hour. What a super fun way to burn calories! DH and the dog got in on it too.
The red bean burgers are super delicious and filling and good for you. Here's how I make them: - Drain and rinse 1 can of red kidney beans. Mash with fork or potato masher. - Add 1/2 cup minced onion, 1 clove of minced garlic, 1 tsp chili powder, 2 tbsp barbecue sauce and about 1/3 cup bread crumbs. Mix well. - Form into 4-6 patties (depending on your buns) and cook in a frying pan with a bit of olive oil or cooking spray. - Top with any of your favorite burger toppings (I usually just do cheddar and lettuce). - Nutritional info for 1/4 of recipe: 148 calories, 1g fat, 28g carbs, 8g protein (I should actually re-calculate this because I've tweaked the recipe since, but this will be close) |
