The first person dares anyone on the blue team to do something, (whether its an exercise challenge, like 10 push ups, or 10 crunches, or drink half a litre of water), and then whoever does the dare, then gets to put down another dare (for example 10 jumping jacks, or running on the spot for 3 minutes).
me4life said it best, so I will quote her:
Quote:
The idea here is little things do add up, so get creative with your dares and keep them on a smaller scale so everyone can play. (means don't dare them to go to a zumba class when not everyone has access to something like that...ok that would be me to)

And in honour to me4life, I will start the dare with the first dare she wrote:
I dare you to do 10 push-ups (in whatever form, military style, against the wall, on your knees) and 10 crunches
(please note, you do not have to do all the previous dares, just the latest one, if you want to do ALL the dares up until right now, than you are a machine!! and kudos to you )
I did the plank position for over 30 seconds. DH couldn't take his eyes off TV long enough to time me correctly. I know it was over 30 seconds and probably nearly 1 minute. I'm ready to throw that tv out the window and DH with it.
Here's the next dare: I dare you to do 10 minutes of housework as fast as you can. Try and get twice as much work done as you usually do!
i didnt have 5 pound weights, so i held 2 of my 3lb dumbells in one hand so 6lbs in total. and did 3 sets of 10 reps. and 3 sets of 10 bicycle crunches.
i am thinking about getting 3kb (6.6 lb) dumbells. pushing myself out of my comfort zone during p90x. i always shied away from heavy weights, as i was like, i dont want to bulky. but i know now that will not be the case.

Next dare...
I dare you to do 20 chair dips - extra points if you can hit 25 reps! in one go. you will feel the burn!!
Next dare: I dare you to bicycle or walk for 1 hour.
i'll take that challenge!! i just had a massive binge oops, was so hungry after my p90x chest and back and ab ripper x workout. first time, i actually laid on my yoga mat and took a little nap, cause i was wiped out! im guessing my blood sugar must have been low. really pushed it on the workouts.
even though i did have a big brunch a few hours before my workout.
so your dare is perfect as i need to burn 600 calories to get any sort of calorie deficient for today and salvage whats left of today.
Okay, here's a dare! I dare you look in the mirror and say 3 things you love about yourself... hahaha, how's that for a break?
You have to say it out loud!
I'm going to take every dare up to this point and combine into one big workout for tonight. I needed some inspiration to get going tonight and this is it..I think the mirror dare is the perfect ending to a long, intense workout Thanks girls!

Next Dare is to do a wall squat and hold for30-60 seconds. Just lean back on the wall, squat down so your back is flat on wall and weight is being held up by bent legs, and hold until it HURTS

next dare.
I dare you to do 30 bicep curls with at least 3lb weights, standing on ONE FOOT!!! (great exercise that works the core aswell!).
if you lose your balance, and your other foot touches the floor, you gotta start from zero again

EDIT:
This morning (sunday) i was listening to jillians podcast and learned something very interesting that i wanted to share! there was a caller saying that her trapz muscles are getting bulky and how to reduce it. jillian said the following
Quote:
"To prevent big trapz muscles - between neck and shoulders...
"AVOID upright rows - avoid pulling weight from ground up and elevating your elbows towards your ears, none of those, those build trapz big time
You CAN DO lateral raises - hold the weights and lift the arms out to the side.
Dont do shrugs. Never do upright rows, no shrugs, never elevate shoulders up to the ear
Lateral raises are good.
Anterior raises - where you hold the weight infront of you, are good.
Posterior shoulder raises -where you bend over - and you push the weight behind you,- DO NOT DO MORE THAN TWICE a month MAX
basically NO upright Rows, and NO shrugs.
I have compiled a bunch of exercises to NOT do from the following website.
so dont do any exercises that specifically work the trapz muscles:"
avoid these
