Hello ladies!!! After a not so great weekend, I'm hoping to redeem myself and get things moving down on the scale again this week. I've been stuck at 183 for over a week, I need to see the 170's soon!!!

I need to go to the grocery store and get some good stuff for lunches. I've been eating Smart Ones, and I think they are just too high in sodium. They are just so much easier.

Anyway, GL to everyone this week!!!

Morning Team!

I've been feeling a little ho-hum this last few days but after Diva's pep talk I am feeling the groove coming back. Thanks!

LOL. I think it did the trick, it's more about getting ourselves motivated, right?

Today is one of those hectic meet-yourself-coming kind of days. And, tonight, I start photography classes! I really need to go grocery shopping, but I don't think it will happen today.

How fun with the photography classes! I hear you on the groceries. I still have some veggies and fruit left but not much else. I sort of forgot that today was the first day of the challenge so I will have to make do with what I have at home.

To everyone else: Glad that we are in this together, best of luck to you on your plan!

I overdid it on Saturday but am on track today :) I have already done my C25K program first thing this morning and need to stock up on fruit and veggies for the week. I make a weeks worth of salads and have them ready to go each morning (except today since my fridge is pretty barren).

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!

 everyone

Great post Diva!

I plan on doing two exercise sessions today. Cardio and abs in a few minutes and then weights either this afternoon or tonight. I have my menu set up for the day, so I feel ready to go!

Marianne, glad you are feeling better. We all have those days but the main thing is to move on.

Nella, I have been tracking my sodium and I am shocked at the amount that is in a lot of foods. I have been eating Yves vegetarian products but the sodium content is crazy.

Girlygirl, have fun at your photography class!

theresia, retiredone, echon nerd, great job on your exercise this morning :cheer:

When SB is done correctly, I don't think there is any healthier way to eat. The flu-like symptoms are from sugar detox on phase 1. Phase 1 helps to break the sugar addiction and relieve sugar cravings. The symptoms...fatigue and headache...can be pretty rough if you've been overloading on white starches, HFCS and refined sugars before starting the plan. However, the flu-like symptoms only last for 3-4 days. They can also be alleviated by remembering not to starve yourself. Eating something every 2-3 hours helps. Also, eating an extra serving of beans and mik products helps. If you an make it through phase 1, you will feel wonderful! So much energy, so clear headed, so positive.

econ- I am doing the c25k too. I started w5 last week, but w5d3 was beyond me. I can't really get much past 3/4 mile. I don't know if its due to my ankle, or just being out of shape, but it wasn't going to happen. I did a modification of w5d2 today. I did run 3/4, walk 1/4, run 3/4. I shortened the walking interval. I figure I may have to spend some extra time but I don't want to give up. I know I will get it eventually. How fast do you do the running and walking sections? I did walking between 3.2 and 3.5 and the running at 6.

Today was good. I am eating well and got in 50 min of exercise. The c25k took 30 min and I followed that with 20 min on the stair climber. Hopefully all this will pay off and the scale will agree with me again. I can't wait for the 160.

When I was feeling down about my weight yesterday, I tried on a shirt that I know fit me when I studied in Germany the summer after my freshman year in college. It fits again. I think I wore it too tight then, so it will stay in the closet for a little while longer, but I think I am back to that size. That puts me at about 20lbs up from my high school weight. I can't wait to be so small again. :)

I hope everyone is having a good day! I know we can beat that other team!

I love the 'Losing weight isn't for sissies!' true words. Had a great OP weekend and working on the rest of the week to stay that way! Kicking butt!

Hi everyone...

Hope everyone's started off on a good foot. My food hasn't been great today but I've had a ton on my mind. Working on finding a new training program for the upcoming year. I think I'm insane but I just signed up for an ironman. Scrap that. I know I'm insane.

Hi guys sorry i got so far behind with the chat... Leah has been sick since wednesday and saturday night took a turn for the worse ... 40.6 temp that just wouldn't go down despite her having both panadol and nuerofen. and me bathing her with a cool cloth and stripping her clothes off .. rapid and very shallow breathing ... a very chesty nasty *** cough .. it took over an hour at 1 in the morning i might add.. to just get her below 40.. .. She did eventually cool to 38.9 and stayed that way till i took her to the after hours clinic sunday morning...

Suprise surprise... she has pnuemonia ............. ummmm isnt the immunisation she had a couple of months back... the one that made her blow up like a baloon suppose to prevent that.... grrr... i dont know... ... the only thing i do know is im tired... and i cant sleep ... i have been listening to her breath since thursday night .... all night long... every night she was a little bit worse until saturday... when she was ridiculous..

Anyway the doctor gave her an antibiotic i have never heard of.. erythyramican (sp?) and she seems alot better now.. last night her breathing was great...
She is still not eating mind you.. It was her Birthday yesterday..... ( my baby girl is 5 can you beleive it,.... ) and she didnt even eat her own birthday cake... and it was her favourite.... chocolate mud cake....

anyway... just thought i'd pop my head in and explain where i have been .... and to let you know im farless stressed now... http://images.calorieking.com.au/bra...es/icons/3.gif my eating has been bad.. but i did go on a 13 km walk on saturday morning... with my little boy Jetty.. ( hes picture is on facebook... he is a lab corgi mix.. and a great dog.. [email protected] .. for face book )

ok gotta run. ill be back to catch up on posts later this arvo.... we are taking Nan shopping today... which im really pleased about.. she hasn't asked me in ages.. and i was begining to miss taking her out.... she is the sweetest.. and an adopted nan ....( hubbys Nan .... but i love her to bits... 14 years is long enough to take possesion.... lol)

I love your brand of insanity!

Amy, I hope your little one starts feeling better quickly.

I am at 698 cals for the day, a little high, but a new Chik Fil A opened up by my work and I couldn't resist an Ice Dream cone... did you know they are supposedly only 170 cals?!??!?! I almost don't believe it.
