Hey everyone, I've been really busy the past few days. Tons of homework and lots of tutoring other people. I also had a funeral to go to yesterday, so haven't gotten in much exercising the past few days. I posted my weigh in for the week..171, a 3 lb loss. Hopefully I'll be able to keep a loss like this every week.

Hiya all! Just checking in finally. Been a crazy week at work, then on Thursday I found out that my thyroid test results were not good, so we upped my dosage of Synthroid. Uhg, so frustrating... I wish I knew at what point I should think about seeing an endo instead of just going through my gp. (I was diagnosed in November, so I'm still trying to figure it all out...)
Had a good on plan week, although I didn't walk as much as I would have liked. I will be working on that this week and praying for at least a 1 lb loss this week... Anything will be better than the half lb gain of last week. Anyway, I am off to drink some water and put my little monkey to bed. We spent a good portion of our day at the Dinosaur Valley Park, so I think we're all ready to hit the bed. :) Hope everyone has a great on-program week!! Go red! |
Just a quick check-in since I've also been busy the last few days. I'm not sporting a major loss this first weigh-in and I'm bummed. But at least it's a loss and I will make sure this doesn't happen again. This last 3 weeks has probably been my worst in 6 months. I am not gorging on food or eating way off plan, but I've had SO SO much going on it's really made it difficult to stay focused and make good choices and progress. The worst of it is over, I think, so I will move on and be the LOSER I know I can be! LOL

My weigh day is Wednesday so unfortunately I've already posted my weight which last Wednesday was the grand total of 0lb! That was one of the reasons why I changed eating plans and went back to Atkins which from previous experience works the best for me and it's the easiest one for me to stick to as well.
Having weighed myself this morning I can tell the group that my weight has gone down further but I won't say by how much just incase there's a blue lurking in our thread but it's looking good.:woohoo: Nicki |

Weight loss for this week is 0. I also needed to pull my self out of the exercise challenge because I am ill. I hope I can beat this thing so I can get back into the fight! |

I did pretty well this weekend and I am quite proud of that! I got on the scale yesterday and I am back at my lowest weight :D :carrot:. I will weigh once more today at the gym and post it to the thread! I hope for a few ounces at least! Pleeeeease!

I report a 1.4 pound loss this week, wish it was more. I have not been strict enough on my calories and my exercise. I also did not get in all my water this weekend. Life just seems to get in the way.

Hi Red Team. I posted a big fat 0 this week. No gain but then again no loss. I went to the dr. last week and she said my thyroid is all out of whack again so we're in the process of trying to get those meds adjusted. I asked her why I'm struggling about losing weight and she said that my thyroid is most of it, also I'm menopausal so that also comes into play. So I'm going to try my best not to get too frustrated by it and continue on. I've been sticking to my 1500 calorie limit but not getting in enough water or fruit or veggies. So starting today I'm going to try to get that down pat and work on that seriously this week.
To everyone that posted a loss this week - GOOD JOB!! I'm so proud of you all!! To those of us that maintained or gained - We'll be more determined next week and the blue team better watch out!! Better get to work. I'll be back later. Have a good Monday. |

I hate to be the post police, but there seems to be a little confusion about the weigh in thread. Each member should only have one post, which they will edit each week with their new weight. If a new post is made each week it will make it much more difficult for Shannon to tally up the results.
