  • Well we've done a few exercise challenges now, so let's do a water challenge this week to change it up.

    Everywhere I research on the web it says you should drink between 50-75% of your body weight in ounces of water per day. 50% being a less active person and 75% being very active.

    Let's shoot for 50% this week and see how it goes. I swear it works!
  • 50% of my weight (167) is 83.5 oz per day. I am going to drink at least 84 ounces but try for the 75% which is 126 ounces.

  • I go with Jillian's rec of 80oz a day. I've been getting about 40-64, so this is a difficult one for me. I'll see how I can do this week in getting to 80.

    FYI:

    I have a bad knee and was directed to the following website about water: http://www.watercure.com/faq.html. This link takes you to the FAQ's page where the following paragraph can be found.

    *It is very important you balance your sodium intake with your water consumption. Take 1/4 teaspoon of salt per quart of water - every 4-5 glasses of water. Be sure to get sea salt. The best is Celtic sea salt or Himalayan sea salt, both of which are readily available at any health food store.

  • I was just telling my friend I needed a water challenge!!

    Mine would be 140 ounces per day! I am going to go for 100.
