Joyce, hang in there. Sounds as if you are on the right track.

Miriam, that's almost a pound. And that's good.

Kelleigh, they were. I was lucky to get any, after my husband and son dove into them. The corn maze sounds fun. And like good exercise, too.

Crazy4, that is just wrong...

Hun.e.B, I thought I would heat it, stir in some buttery spray and some sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper. I am also trying to think of something sweet and healthy, too.

Another good, on track day, yesterday. I was in the mood to get on my scale this morning, rather than waiting for tomorrow. I am down another two pounds. (I think... I hope... With that crazy thing, who really knows? )

Have a great Sunday, everyone.

I went to step aerobics at the gym on the way home from work. That's definitely better for me this time of year. Once I get home, it's really hard for me to make myself do aerobics. I can go to step aerobics or bellydancing on the way home.

Great challenge Melissa!

Melissa -- yum I love fresh, good strawberries. And I'm with ya -- I hate grocery shopping, too!

Rain Dancer -- wow, that pumpkin idea sounds delish. And yay for -2 pounds!!

Amany -- nice job going to step!! I did bellydancing once, but the instructor was just terrible and now I've been soured on it. Oh well.

Miriam -- way to go on personals. I'm trying really hard, too!! I love having a new thread.

Well, I'm making some granola right now, I have no idea how many points it is, but it is DELISH and I'm making it to bring to my brother's for his birthday present. I'll probably do an exercise video later on today, after I go to his place for a couple of hours.
Later on, ladies!!

Morning Everyone!

Kelleigh
- Good idea going to the Corn Maze! I really want to go now. We have one near us that has been featured on David Letterman a few times. I might try to get some people to go today. I have always wanted to go to one!

I need to go grocery shopping today....grrr. I HATE going grocery shopping too, Mel. Especially going to Trader Joe's on the weekends. I will anyway. I need my healthy food for the next week!

Well I went to a new Mexican restaurant for my something new....hehehe. I didnt plan for that to be my something new. I will try something new this next week to make up for it.

My scale wasnt very nice to me. Not a good idea to weigh in the morning after a salty cheat night. Luckily I stayed the same but I wanted to drop something...oh well.

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

Well I need to get in the shower because we're going to a hockey game at 4. Oh, sorry Melissa I didn't try something new this week.

Hi Miriam. I'm just starting, so I don't have any of the extras yet.

It was a great class Lizzy. They also have pole dancing and Salsalicious. Salsalicious is salsa with pole dancing worked into it. I think I will check out the other classes too just to keep it fun. The step aerobics is free at the gym. The bellydance, Salsalicious and Pole Dancing are at another studio. The classes are $13, 15 and 25. I think I'll treat myself to 1 or 2 of the other classes each week.
lol I love the new threads too!

I don't know which I love more. Middle Eastern or Mexican. I think I favor Mexican slightly. I've been craving it for about 2 months now. I think I'll just give in one day and get it over with.

Hey all, been off plan for days. I was sick and comfort food plus PMS just about killed me. I'm okay now though but feel gross.

I saw 198 once this week but then popped back up to 200. So that is a 0 loss for the week. Not surprising but still a letdown. I start work this week so I am going to have to find different times to workout since they scheduled me to lifeguard while swim team is practicing and I don't think they'd like it if I was swimming instead of watching the pool lol.

So this week I cooked a lot which is good for me. So that is my something new. I have made a few recipes that I have never attempted before and tonight I am making white bean chicken chili yum!

Gurly -- ugh I'll be weighing in tomorrow after a salty night cheat. I wish I had thought of your warning before I scarfed down all that pad thai, instead of right after.

Cat -- Sounds like you're doing so great with exercise!

Amany -- wow those are some crazy classes!! I have such mixed feelings about the pole dancing thing -- I would love to reclaim that sort of stuff for us women, but when I watch it, it just seems so…I don't know, pornographic?! But definitely looks like a good workout!!

Cakses -- yum white bean chicken chili sounds divine. I might have to give that a shot if I can find the time this week. The chill is in the air and it's time for soups!!

Well, I didn't do so hot tonight. All day was pretty good, then I went to my brothers and we ordered thai take out, I planned to just eat soup and a dumpling or two, but we ordered so much other stuff and it was so delicious, and now I feel disgustingly full.
I'm going to get to bed on the early side tonight and hopefully wake up in time for a workout before I go to work.

Good night!!

OK, so another thread huh? Already on page 2?

Well, all this exercise had better pay off for me this week! Swam today 1400 yards/meters. Almost a mile. Usually I make sure I do one mile minimum, but I think after all that running/walking I did yesterday (about 4.5 miles) I was pooped today! And my instructor had us doing a lot of things I am slow at, like lots of kickboard, lots of pulls, breaststroke several lengths, 6-3-6 drills, etc. Sometimes he has us stop in the middle of the pool on each length and dog-paddle for 15 seconds. Luckily he didn't have us haul ourselves out of the water at the end of each length this week. That really slows down the lap count (not to mention really wears me out!)

I have been pretty good on the food (quantity, that is) but really fighting the hungries today Trying to keep it in check, (for example, I just finished my THIRD apple! Healthy, but......) and I also have craved salty stuff, so had a couple of pretzels, a couple slices pepperoni, walnuts, all day long. Bad timing--I am just now chugging back tons of water--and hope to release enough of it tomorrow to not affect my WI.

What did I try new? Well I worked both Tuesday and Thursday so didn't make it to the Zumba class I was going to try, but I did map out several different routes of various lengths around my neighborhood and ran/walked a couple of them yesterday. Went down some streets I never have before. I guess that's new! It was new to me to use mapmyrun.com and favoriterun.com that others turned me on to.

Yeah--I hate grocery shopping TOO! Depending on my mood, I can totally be undisciplined! Like yesterday, after all that exercise I bought some crap--well really only one or two. Like a carmel apple (just one--they looked soooo good!) and some dark chocolate walnuts (I justified them as an evening reward if I was good all day, and besides, dk.choc and nuts are supposed to be good for you, right? Riiight....)

Well, gotta go get in my evening walk for the night. Check in wit' ya 'morrow......

1.2 lb down for me, chickies, which I'm pretty proud of.

And the big one for today? LOOK AT MY TICKER!! I'm officially no longer obese, I'm now just simply "overweight"! Woohoo!

Well done to everyone on sticking to your guns and exercising this week, whether or not you lost weight. It will pay off in the long run.

Cheers chickies!

Good evening team,

I had a pretty good week, lost 4 pounds . I weighed myself 3 times just to make sure. I was pretty much OP throughout the week except Tuesday. It was my mom's 89th birthday and I just had to have a little cake to celebrate. My exercise is getting better. I was able to do extra walking Fri. and Sat. I think I have a little arthritis, my hands just ache right now.

Misty - your puppy is so cute. He looks so little. I love puppies.

Naia - I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. My prayers are with you. Take care of yourself.

Cakses - I'm sorry you're struggling right now. You always kick butt when it comes to exercise

Rain Dancer - Your sweet potatoes sound so good. I've been thinking about roasting some yams this week. Yum...

Miriam - Congratulations on your weight loss

Everyone have a great night ...

Teri
