I JUST read the paper and got that info and was coming to say, "Scratch that!"

I only have green tomatoes so far here...

Anna -- you're a "fat" runner? Puh-lease.

Oh god, like I need another addiction.

I've jumped on the band wagon too. Anna's coolness is too tempting.

what exactly is "plurking"?
Is this a new blog kind of thing??

Just finished a 45 min walk...it actually is hotter than I thought, but I did feel like I accomplished something!
I hope to get a bike ride in later tonight, probably with the kids...either with their bikes, or their rollerblades.
I was watching CNN for a bit this afternoon....all of the flooding is terrible. Is anyone on this board affected by that? They interviewed a couple who actually stood and watched their home fall into the water!!! I can't even begin to imagine what they must be going thru!
Prayers to everyone who has been somehow affected by this crazy weather...extreme heat, tornados, flooding!!
time for a little "down-time" before getting dinner ready. I'm making macaroni and cheese for the kids....salad for me!

40 miles south, and that would be us. I went to my parents today (they are on vaca) and they have a huge limb across their fence. Fun to come home to.

I did not need another distraction. Bad enough DS painted his sister with blue nail polish the other day because of 3FC.

Uh, then again, I can't keep up with y'alls current rate of super-speed posting , so maybe that will give me a chance to catch up.

Dora - my garden is OK, how 'bout yours? Did you get hit by the freaky weather, or did it go around you? We had snow yesterday Uh huh, in June!!!! (I guess Vanessa Williams was right!) Anywho, so I put a blanky on my garden for a couple days, and it made it through. And today the snow is further east, and I am getting rained on. lol. Silly weather.
