Good Afternoon....
Let's see....I did well last night, except I had a handful of animal crackers. I really shouldn't have since they are not on my plan, but I think I did alright. I was going to walk to the store about 4.5 miles away and then have my husband come and get me to bring me home, but it was so nice last night that I walked/jogged back too. Then for today.....I have done really well. Breakfast was a 4oz. chicken breast on La Tortilla Factory tortilla with a 12 g. protein drink Lunch was 4 oz cod with 8 oz of raw veggies and a protein smoothy with frozen Pineapple (4oz) Yum! This afternoon I will have a little snack and supper is going to be on the grill. I have some bison steaks that are calling my name. |
HA! I can't even do the Plank! That is hard! I think the chair may kill me too....We live in such a tiny place, there's no free walls to stand against. :dizzy:

wow- that sure sounds like a challenge!! Yikes! I dont even know how long its been since i tried a push up let alone any of those other things....:o I am on holidays for another few days, but will have to try them out! Ive never watched biggest loser...whats the lowdown on that?? I too have been doing the stickers on my calendar thing (for exercising)for a while...but havent put any stars up for a bit, until yesterday! Finally went to the gym, first time since i sprained my ankle!! Yay! now i just need to get it together with my eating...gotta run , babys crying!! :wave: |

I'm definitely in for the pushup challenge. I use to pride myself on my upperbody strength, but I've gotten rather soft, so I'll be starting at square one. I probably can't do more than a couple regular pushups.
I weigh in on Saturday evening. I like to use the calendar week, so that's why I chose that day. Speaking of calendars, I absolutely love mine. I have the Girlfriends calendar from www.moretimemoms.com and it is the greatest. The squares are huge (at least three times as big as a normal calendar) plus it comes with all kinds of stickers and stuff. I use it as my weightloss journal, putting down my exercising, weighins, and measurements. It is great to be able to glance at the month and see all the great stuff I've done so far. Plus, with the big squares, I can still use it for regular stuff like bills due and birthdays. |

I love the plank....I can finally hold it for a whole minute. You can do a side plank each side for your obliques too. I am going to have to try the chair |

The pushup challenge will be awesome! I can't wait to do it. I used to rock at the chair in middle school (which was also the last time I did it!)
I really like the idea of the stickers - I can't remember whose idea it was, but I think I am going to have to start doing that. |
Ohhhh! I almost forgot - I don't know if any of you read Hungry Girl, but her book comes out today. I'm really excited to stop at Borders by my house and buy it tonight!

Okay, I'm in for the push up challenge. Can i just say that the person who came up with the plank and the side plank should be shot. WE have to do those at the end of every cardio kickboxing class and I SUCK. I can't even DO a side plank. I wonder why? I"m telling you the time for me to hold a regular plank will NOT be pretty. LMAO! Are the pushups we have to do REGULAR pushups or can we do modified on the knee? I dont' even know if I CAN do a regular pushup....my upper body strength isn't very good! I guess I've got a challenge and my work cut out for me! I'll get my stop watch and time myself for some of these grueling exercises. I stayed home again today. DS needed one more day off to recooperate. He will be fine to go back tomorrow. So I did a 45 min turbo jam cardio party DVD, I also went to the gym and did 30 min of weights (chest, triceps) and 200 different crunches and 60 minutes of cardio (40 min high intensity on the arc trainer and elliptical) and 20 min moderate on the bike. I earned a total of 13 aps today. WOOHOO!!! I'm feeling good, might be hurting tomorrow, but i'm feeling good today! Melissa: Our mascot is VERY cute! Diva: I feel the same as you about the darn plank. But i'm going to do it because Melissa (aka Jillian) might hurt me if I don't. I'm scared! LOL Okay, I read far too many pages to be able to do any more personals. I don't even remember half of what I read. Sorry! Have a great day everybody and start doing those GOD AWFUL exercises! ha ha |
