Bending over is good for the waist line lol. You just bend and bend and bend lol. ksk When we go walking outside I do kicks, side to side steps and raise my hands up and down and out. Those looking and laughing aren't the ones losing weight lol. Melissa That is such a great idea. I am all for making things when I can. Cathy The end of winter is a funny time for many people. I am tired of the snow, the rain, the cloudy Sky's. I am all ready for sunshine and humming birds. Counting I felt the same way. My weight loss never is very much. Sure isn't going to win any records lol. BUT I sure like to come here and chat and cheer people on. Red looks good on us girl. |

Nice going on the loss. We are getting there one step at a time. I have no idea how much I have lost since we started. Not as much as you have lol but that is ok. You deserve every pound you have lost. |

Rennie...me too, if I can make it myself I usually do, but it also fall in line with me being cheap LOL, generally its cheaper if you just do it yourself LOL!
Counting...16 lbs is FANTASTIC!!! Way go to!! Enjoy your trip, I dont blame you a bit on the dialup I seriously dont know how anyone uses it... I got spoiled LOL! 'see' you when you get back! Muse...I'm with you! I swear I think I'm at the point where I dont really care what the number on the scale says. I just wanna be a size 10-12, I would be happy to weigh 250 lbs if I was that size! Scales are for fish! SB...thats my goal...end of the year...hula hips! |
Mel - Yeah in general I try not to care anymore as I'm feeling pretty good in general now, but I know I'm going to be grumpy next week when that scale shows a gain... Trust me I see it coming!

Good news, bad news day. The good news is I ran three miles outside on the track today followed by another mile and a half walking. I am trying to spend an entire hour exercising to build up my stamina. My running is more like plodding then running but it is what it is. Bad news is now that Lent is over I have been consuming some formally forbidden calories that I certainly do not need. Kind of the same old story, I stink at eating right and am steadily improving at the exercise. Well tomorrow is another day and another opportunity to do better.
Counting-Congratulations on the Sweet Sixteen! About the Zumba, we have all ages in our classes at the Y. Honestly, probably from 8 to 78. When I started, I really modified a lot. I would do everything low impact with very little arm movement. Now I can do quite a bit more but when I get winded I just return to the low impact moves or simply slow down. It is suprising how much cardio those dance moves take. I have a whole new appreciation for the celebrities on Dancing With the Stars. No wonder the heavier celebs end up losing weight. |
Good evening ladies! I just wanted to pop in tonight and let you all know I won't be on tomorrow. I'm leaving early in the morning to go see a play version of The Wizard of Oz with the kids, hubby and my MIL! After that we're going out for lunch. I'm looking forward to it....I love watching plays, and The Wizard of Oz is one of my all time favorite stories. My grandma read it to me as a kid, and I just loved it. Now I have such fantastic memories attached to the story that I could listen or watch it anytime:) Tonight I went with my SIL and MIL to see The Other Boleyn Girl....FANTASTIC MOVIE!!!! I LOVED it! I love that era though! The costumes were to die for. It was nice to get out with the girls though and just relax. Again thank you all for helping me through today...I made it without a binge, so tomorrow will be day 2:) Have a great day~

Thanks Sometimes I feel I am not much good for the team except funny stories lol. Soul I bet your smile looks much better than that one lol and I sure hope you are a bit taller lol. Hun Somethings a person never gets over I think. I grew up so poor dirt was expensive lol. Now I am not poor and I am not one to spend money. I am not cheap because I won't by cheap things I will spend good money on good products but if I can make it myself or buy it used I sure will do that instead of spending more money than I have to. terapet You will get things in order. Maybe you need to work on one thing at a time. Try to keep the sugar down a bit and get the exercise where you want it to be then focus on the food again. 12 pounds is what I have lost so far in this challenge. |
