I'm THANKFUL I lost the weight goal!

  • This is for ALL teams...red, blue and black!! (chellez and londonjulz I hope you dont mind that I'm including your teams)

    this is like a lets get it pulled together and finish with a bang goal! There is slightly over 3 weeks till American Thanksgiving so lets all set a goal...what can YOU accomplish in the next 3 weeks. From today till November 22. Post up your goal, what reward you will be giving yourself for meeting that goal. And them come give back whenever you can and post a for each lb you lose in your goal!

    We can all committ to ourselves for 3 weeks right? Just think of the progress you can make from now till then! So lets see em Big Losers!! What is your goal and your reward for making that goal?!

    I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually met my goal! I am THANKFUL I am below 200 pounds!!
  • I'm going for 4 turkeys and my reward will be a garmin GPS thingy.
  • I'm going to be brave and shoot for 6 turkeys. I need to be done with the 190s for good and get moving towards my 10% goal for Christmas!

    My reward will be a mini makeover.... yep I'm going to cut my hair I'm been working so hard to grow!

    I am gonna go for 4 to 8 's and my reward will be whatever it is I want really bad at that time. LOL!
  • Okay...I'm going for 9 turkeys...(Say what??!!) Yep, its an ambitious goal, but I'd like to at least try for it. That would put me exactly at 220.

    And my reward? Hmmm....maybe some Brown Sugar and Fig bath gel and lotion from Bath & Bodyworks.

    Reward will be taking one of the days of the long Thanksgiving weekend to do just whatever I WANT to do - all day long - even if that's just sitting in the yard watching the leaves fall.

  • This is great, especially since I'm going to be home (WV) for Thanksgiving for the first time in 7 years.

    I want 5 turkeys. My reward will be new workout clothes, it's finally getting to cold down here to go sleeveless outside in the mornings.

    Note to self: Weight was 177.5 when you set this goal, so target is 172.5 or less.

    Turkeys so far:
  • Three weeks? Uuuuugh. I'm going to shoot big and save five turkeys. (That is saying a lot because I'm the maid-of-honor in my best friend's wedding in 2 weeks.)

    I can't think of a good reward because I'm trying SO HARD to watch my spending. So, the joy of being under 145 is enough for me.
  • 3 weeks? I think I'm going to shoot for 4 Turkeys. My weight loss has been slow lately, about 1 pound a week average, so I'm not going to overshoot. That will put me at 145 which will be a big thing for me!

    My reward is going to be an outing to look at wedding dresses while I am home for Thanksgiving (I'm not getting married until next fall, but it doesn't hurt to look and see what styles I like!)

    Put me down for 8 turkeys..that will put me down to 218!

    My reward will be a new outfit for my trip to Las Vegas.

    My reward willl be some nice new WARM pants for my runs in the cool evenings.

    What a great motivator to stay OUT of the Halloween candy!
  • I dig the Turkey challenge! Since I'm a part of a WOW challenge elsewhere, and my goal there is losing 2 pounds a week, essentially, from now until the end of the Challenge, I'm going to lose 6 ! It's going to mean some serious exercising and watching my food...but I'm gonna do it. The 3 important things: Food, Exercise and WATER!

    Thanks for posting this. It's also a great way to bring the teams together for a common goal! Yay for solidarity!

    Oh! I forgot what prize I'm going to give myself when I lose my 6 turkeys... Hmmm... I think I'm going to buy myself a couple new sports bras and some new gym shirts!
