  • Well let's get this challenge moving shall we! Below is a list of popular destinations and how many miles are between each city. Both the Red and Blue Teams have the same route and milage. The challenge is who can make it to Venice Beach, CA first!

    This is how it works. You can use the following measurements to track your mileage:
    • 20 minutes of continuous exercise = 1 mile
    • Pedometers that read milage
    • Exercise equipment that read mileage
    • Mileage you actually walked/ran
    You'll start in Niagara Falls, ON end in Venice Beach, CA = 7472 miles total

    Simply post your miles as you exercise. Your team leader will be responsible for telling you where you stand and what vacation spot is coming up next!

    Hershey, PA ---> Colonial Williamsburg, VA = 205 miles - We Made It! 6/12/07

    Williamsburg, VA ---> Cape Hatteras, Outer Banks, NC = 153 miles

    Outer Banks, NC ---> The Lady & Sons, Savannah, GA = 380 miles

    Savannah, GA ---> Disney World, Orlando, FL = 243 miles

    Orlando, FL ---> Key West, FL = 279 miles

    Key West, FL ---> 6 Flags, Austell, GA = 662 miles

    Austell, GA ---> World of Illusions, Gatlinburg, TN = 142 miles

  • Hi I did 30 minutes at curves this morning so l will say 1 mile
  • 306-1(free weights)-5miles=300

    had to edit to take off my other mile
  • If you you do 10 minutes its still considered half a mile

    So really we are at 299.5 miles because of Mo's 10 minutes
  • I walked around my apartment complex after taking out the trash and checking the mail.... my move more book says I gotta start somewhere!

    299.5 miles - 1 mile = 298.5 miles to New York
  • hi ladies

    I did 50 minutes on the treadmill today - 2 and a half miles!
    I walked around the mall for 20 minutes too(that would be the walking time - not the browsing time!!) - 1 mile
  • 298.5-3.5miles= 296.0 miles to NY (That was SassyKay's miles subtracted)

    296.0-2miles= 294.0 miles to NY ( I did 40 min of bootcamp)

    Soooo...... 294.0 miles till NY!!

    293.0 til NYC
  • 293-1.5(free weights)- 6.5 miles (walking around the house this morning and exercise on the gazelle)

    so 285 miles left to NYC
  • golfed yesterday.... walked 18 holes, which is around 3.5 miles!

    282 Miles to NYC!!!!
  • Did curves again so that means

    1.5 gone
    282- 1.5 = 280.5 keep going ladies
  • 280.5-1.25=279.25

    sorry girls I didn't get out for that walk.
  • did my WATP Walk & Kick this morning, so time wise that's 1.5 miles, I can't remember if Leslie gives a mileage on that one.
    279.25 - 1.5 = 277.75
  • I walked for 40 minutes today - wearing my 9 month old (20 pounds) in a front carrier and pushing a double stroller that weighs 10 pounds (with a 4 year old that weighs 40 pounds and a 2.5 year old that weighs 35 pounds) - I worked up a nice sweat!

    So, 277.75-2.0= 275.75
