Red Team - The Water Challenge!
 

To help us on our weight loss journey, let's drink our old weights in water. In doing so, we'll get to our new, healthier weights!

Here's how I figured it:

• 7704.8 lbs start weight/8.34 lbs per gal of water = 924 gallons total for the Water Challenge.
  
• 924 gallons x 128 oz/gallon = 118,272 oz
  
• 118,272 oz a day/77 days (11 weeksx7 days left, about) = 1536 oz a day
  
• 1536 oz a day / 35 losers (approx) = 44 oz a day

Through the magic of this incredible team, this is achievable!

So, start with 118,272, and subtract your water as you drink it.

Actually, I'm wondering if ANYONE likes drinking all this water? When I'm at the gym, I crave it so I can usually get 24 oz down pretty quick.

Anyhow, here's my contribution for today:

I felt compelled to drink some more water tonight, you guys are fantastic for motivation. So:

117776.8 - 16 = 117,760.8

We have some serious water drinkers on the Red Team, so this might go quickly. If so, we are going to empty/fill that swimming pool!

I drink 2 full 1 liter bottles every day (I'm incredibly consistant with this for some reason), and that = 64oz a day :) so...

117,760.8 - 64 = 117,696.8

Katiebo...sounds like you have a nice little water habit going there! That's to your teammates' advantage, and yours!

I drank an extra bottle just for this challenge! 67.6 oz for the day.

117,696.8 - 67.6 = 117,629.2 (this is why we had to learn math with decimals, wasn't it?)
