The book contains a list of stuff you'll need for the future weeks, but some sort of journal is key. Different folks have used different approaches. I listed the advantages of my Advantages Response Card in an Excel spread sheet for ease in modifying and tracked eating in a standard Microsoft Word document. Others have used their cell phones or paper journals of various kinds.
Do come over to our monthly thread and say hello even before you get started. There aren't any rules for what one is 'supposed' to post. You'll read in Beck's book about the step of finding a Diet Coach (or Diet Buddy in her second book) which typically sends any sane person into despair trying to figure out who that could be in real-life. Then they google and find their way to this Beck forum on 3 Fat Chicks.
