Default 5 Credits a Day

I hope you will join me in making a list of 5 credits or positive things for each day. I was on another site where this was done, and I really enjoyed it ! Just make a list !

My five:

1. Walked to the barn and back two times
2. Measured every thing for dinner
3. Gave extra couscous to the chickens -there was a LOT left over.
4. Planned lunch, which will be at local cafe. Spinach Salad.
5. Started this list thread !

2. posted at 3fc and emailed my diet coach.
3. used resistance techniques on an extra piece of cake after eating my portion.
4. read resistance cards
5. planned meals for the day.

1. Bought pound cake slices and just had one....rest of the package went to the chickens.
2. Ate eveything sitting down... it *IS* getting to be a habit.
3. Drank fruit juice when my blood sugar was low, instead of eating something solid.
4. Weight is staying the same, down 5 pounds.
5. Survived cravings for overeating more than once yesterday

I like this idea.

1. got up on time without hitting snooze with a little help from April <-----
2. stopped when full at lunch, saved rest for later
3. didn't let one 'over-eating snack' turn into an all day event
4. didn't eat dinner just because it was 'time' since I wasn't hungry
5. ETA: {I thought of a 5th} I exercised; I had put it off all day, because I was so full from overeating, but I did my workout.

Can't think of a 5th but the days not over yet.

1. Didn't have seconds on dinner last night, thought I was very tempted to just reload.
2. Let my tummy rumble a few times...and lived through it.
3. Bought the smallest pack of healthy chips at store.
4. Picked mushrooms from pasture and am drying them instead of frying in butter.
5. Gotta give mother nature one credit here...it got warm, finally ! I ate on the deck for the first time last night.

Ponee, I've had my A/C on since April, but it doesn't get as cold here in the winter. I used to live on Whidbey IS, WA, because Hubby was Navy. I miss the long days and the mild temps compared to here, but I don't miss the snow and cold.

Yesterday wasn't my best day but I'll try and think of something.
1. Realized I was thinking of eating too much and stopped to distract myself
2. made some new friends
3. tried to encourage others
4.
5.

1. found out that Dairy Queen has a 50 calories fudge bar - so I could stay on my plan when we went out for ice cream

2. despite company from out of town - I kept to my plan

3. ate only 1/2 of the English muffin my friend toasted for me - left the other half on my plate

4. kept close track of my calories

5. weighed myself

1. Ventured back here after a lapse.
2. Sorted out allowed calories for meals and snacks
3. Realized that if I was pressed for time I could just eat what I ate the day before rather than choosing all new meals.
4. Realized that dieting will get easier
5. Went into grocery store and only bought beets and beans

Goodness, I've been remiss.

1. Threw out food grandsons brought home from local cafe to "eat later"
2. Didn't have dessert when everyone else did.
3. Finished a project that could have been waiting forever.
4. Cooked from NOW EAT THIS cookbook by Rocco Dispirito, including brownies made with black beans. (not at all bad)
5. Decided to take time off from teaching for all of August.
