I actually just started back drinking coffee after stopping for 10 years. I found I do like the flavored sugar free syrups so maybe that is it. I did not have any of the syrup yesterday and this morning I saw a small drop. this is from another thread I am on that I post my daily weight. You can see I am not moving

That's odd adding a cup of coffee makes you gain again, but you've been having trouble with the scale bouncing around. It's hard when your body refuses to lose weight no matter what you do. Right now I'm now weighing myself, I just can't deal with dieting correctly and not seeing any loss.

It's spring today! YAY!

Neko,

I can't taste the Coconut oil in the Chocolate fat Bombs. I buy the Butcher Boy Refined coconut oil from Big Lots, $7.50 for 60 oz.

These little bombs keep me from eating my DH's M&Ms and other goodies he has laying around.

QUOTE=Neko;5305848]Nancy, w00t on staying below 160.

bigdog, that sounds interesting, but I'm afraid of buying coconut oil and hating it. How do you like it.

Baylor, we are prepping for tomorrow's storm too. I'm in Jersey and we're expecting 12-18 inches, how about you?

Weekend is over, so hopefully less coffee for me. Saturday I felt too high on the carbs as I had a large cup hot in the a.m. and then a Trenta iced coffee with sugar free vanilla and cream in the afternoon. But I was so busy all day Saturday, I felt like I needed that Starbucks pickup. Adorable little child was begging for a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino anyways. I hate the fact there is a Starbucks right by the bank.[/QUOTE]

Hi girls, I told you I'd stop in after switching from Atkins to Weight Watchers Smart Points. To recap, I lost 5 lbs. in the first week on Atkins and fought with 1 more pound on and off for several weeks after. Because of the lack of progress and the fact that I was getting tired of my LC choices, I decided to try another plan that had worked for me in the past.

Right before I stopped posting here I went to our 2nd home in AZ for 10 days. Started out good but since I knew I was starting a new plan upon my return I went off plan. I had started on Atkins at 149, was down to 142/143 & ended up back at 147. Dang, it's so easy to put that weight back on but so hard to take it off.

I started with Weight Watchers Smart Points and I'm loving it (this is not to sway anyone away from Atkins, just my story) - LC via Atkins just wasn't working for me and I didn't feel like going back to Carbohydrate Addict's Diet, which did work in the past but after 2 1/2 years on it I was tired of having to follow their rules.

I've also been on WW (twice) before with good success and with today's online site and phone apps it's much easier and kind of fun to "track." It will even sync steps and work-outs using fit tracking devices.

I can eat whatever I want and it kind of forces me to go to fruit or veggies if I'm hungry since most are 0 points. I like fruit but it's not my first choice - now it is, especially when I'm hungry and low on points (I use my daily points and most if not all my weekly points, but not my Activity Points). I'm not hungry that often.

Anyway, it allowed me to lose the weight I gained back on my trip and instead of fighting over 142 and 143, I'm now down to 139. I haven't been in the 130's for probably a decade. The deal when I joined is if I reach goal of 135 by the end of next month I'll get either $100 gift card or free months of the online membership. If I can do it (I've got another trip next month and will try to count those points) I think I'll take the continued membership, which I didn't think I'd want.

Looks like this month brought some more activity to this group and I haven't even posted in the WW group on the site. One thing I don't like is there is no longer the old WW forums on the WW website. There's a "community" which has posts like Instagram or Facebook - only new or "trending" posts remain on top and forget about trying to find an older post. There's also a couple Facebook groups but I don't like any of them, so I kind of miss a support group. I'll have to join the group here.

Nancy - looks like you're seeing some progress - that's great since you've been stuck since I was on here.

Neko - I like coconut but with all the oils I've used so far I can still taste coconut and I don't like it with everything. Supposedly, there are some unflavored oils but I haven't tried them yet.

Sorry I haven't posted here in awhile. This board is just so slow and quiet.

Nancy, congrats on the weight loss moving. Have you continued to cut out the coffee and SF Vanilla? Maybe it's the artificial sweeteners causing the stall? Some people complain about them.

Judy, I'm happy you posted here again to let us know how it's going. If weight watchers works for you, then that's the way to go. Dieting definitely isn't one size fits all. If people didn't have success with weight watchers they wouldn't have been in business for so long.

I'm finally past my 180 stall. Weighed today and was down to 176. I don't know why my body is always so stubborn about getting past 180.

neko: Just popping in...I'm not doing Atkins but eat low carb, moderate fat, moderate protein. Congrats on getting into the 170's! I was sooooo excited when I finally did too!

Thanks, idealproteinnewbie! The 170's feel great. Not eating all the carbs gives me much more energy.
