Mom- my husband did atkins a few years ago. He had no real results for over two weeks and then, BAM..... He lost 5 lbs per week for 4 or 5 weeks in a row. He had to concentrate on eating more fat. He had been eating a lot of chicken and lean meats, he switched to more fats and it worked. Or it might have just taken longer for his body to respond.

mom I think you are doing great. Like anything in life we always hear about the big fast losers and seldom about the turtle. If you still have doubts post what and how much you are eating and the pros will chime in.

1/7: 388.8
1/8: 388.2 TOM has arrived.
1/9: 388.4
1/10: 384.4 Happy dance! I got my whoosh I was waiting for.
1/11: 384.4 one more day til my weekly weigh in. Come on!
1/12: 384.4
1/13: 384.0 a little wiggle down not much yet though

I didn't get enough water in yesterday so I'll be working to reverse that today and hope to get a whoosh by mid week. Hope everyone is having a good start to their week.

I have been tracking everything in fitness pal. When I look the nutrition data, it is very obvious how little fiber and iron I am consuming. What do you do for fiber and iron? Are probiotics, Metamucil, or micro lax allowed?
