Supermarket woes. Nothing looks good.

Day 6. Went to supermarket and absolutley nothing looked good. Left with nothing. My belly isnt hungry at all. Bit queazy at times. So supper consisted of sugar free jello and whipping cream. I have lost 3 lbs. But hoping all the rest is normal. I almost miss eatting. But glad to be losing. Any ideas?

When we're not feeling well, we want "comfort foods". Maybe some homemade soup, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, quiche. There are low carb versions of all those things:)

I am not sick. I cant describe it. Thinking I am still too new to induction. I know I am in ketosis. First time so just take time I guess. But this way of eatting does squash hunger and so far cravings.

Chicken broth (NOT the low sodium variety) and drinking plenty of water will help with Atkins Flu. It does get better, just takes your body time to adjust.

I felt exactly how you are describing the first week or so ...had no appetite either ...it'll pass, just get thru it...you can do this, it'll be worth it :)
