I had a bad 3 days and am not posting (and I have not weighed myself either) for at least 5 days until I can get back on track. I am afraid of what the scale says... and I need to get that commitment mental attitude back in the forefront of my mind again and push. I hope you all had a wonderful and lovely Easter (Passover too) with your family and friends! |

Me.. not doing so well... It used to be that I felt guilty when I slipped (walking/eating and going to the store and telling myself.. nope I can't have that).. but now my restriction on my mind and wants is slipping.. I have got to find that commitment again as I don't feel remorse as badly as I had. I want to do this. I have a goal in mind and need to get there! I really needed to post this to get it out in writing! Thank you all! |
Sue, sorry you're struggling. What's that goal in your mind? Of all the choices I've made this time, the one I'm the most happy with is keeping all my focus on staying engaged in managing my weight long term (instead of focusing on a certain number). It's mainly because I am clear this is the mindset I'll need to maintain as well.

Hey Sue I am here. Sorry I have not been feeling good so I have been more maintaining than losing. Still trying to get back on track though. I have an appointment with a gyno, that my regular doctor referred me to, next week. Hopefully we can figure out what is going on. I am a little nervous.

Sarah that is a great perspective to have on losing. Making it about the time managing your weight rather than the weight loss is a great idea!
