Just checking in....holding at 169 but I think I might just see a drop this week. Going out to dinner with a girlfriend tonight and already picked cod for dinner tonight...I do so much better when I have a plan and stick to it!!

Newme/Pixikat/Sarah - keep up the good work!!!

Sue - be kind to yourself!! Because YOU are totally worth it!! The journey is not perfect because we are supposed to learn lessons along the way!!

We went out to dinner last night so I was surprised to see I held steady today. we went to a hamburger place and I got what they call hamburger in a bowl. A patty on top of a salad. with chipotle ranch, bacon bits, sauteed mushrooms, and avocado. It was delicious. Even so I expect to see a bounce tomorrow, but I think it was worth it.

So I was apparently wrong about the bump up. Maybe the 239 was already with retention? IDK I'll take it though!!! Maybe the whoosh fairy is favoring me after being stuck so long just above 240.

School is going ok, 2 of my classes are awful. Just boring and subject I really don't give a crap about, so I am not doing as well as normal in them. But so far it looks like a B in both if I continue getting the marks I have been getting. That will kill my goal of getting back to as close as possible to a 4.0 but I've decided if it isn't just in reach I won't stress so much to be perfect in every class. I decided that that needs to be ok fairly early in the semester which may be why I am not stressing in those two classes. But we will see what happens when final grades are released and my GPA is no longer a 3.985. It may be a meltdown waiting to happen who knows.

Glad you didn't have an uptick pixikat. Its hard to diet in school. I remember those study sessions...that always seemed to involve food! You are doing great.

This last bit of weight seems to be taking as long as the rest of the entire journey!! HA!! It's not even the scale I am worried about...I really want to be able to wear my new jeans out of the house!! So I am going to recommit to more abdominal exercises to "fix" my muffin top!! The scale may not move but I know I can slim down my gut!! Even though I have been regularly exercising since last August, I still have some really really loose bits and pieces - not sure how much improvement I will see but I have to start somewhere!! Best wishes for an on-plan day!!

lulu - planks are the best thing ever for the abdominals because it works out the entire muscle group, front and back, without stressing out other muscle groups.

Sarah that is awesome that you met your goal! your new diet plan really seems to be working for you. I also hit my goal this morning! Now we just have to maintain or lose a little more.
