We are getting close to having a winner. And it's not me.

I am 0.2lbs down today and .2 down on my start weight.

Argh. Oh well, at least it is a 186. I am having dinner with drinks with colleagues tonight though so that could all change. Me and a colleague will be cooking so I will keep my share healthly (octopus, snails and salad!!).

I should be losing 3-5 pounds per week on the IP diet, but I've been losing 1 a week lately. I need to revisit the plan and change things up a bit to see if I get the scale moving a little faster."

Oh gosh.. I know what you mean too... I actually looked thru my food journal all the way back to January.. and I am actually eating more on plan then way back when... So no clue... except I am walking longer when I do.. just not as often and its humid now... I am also drinking more water than tea... Just don't know.. But I can deal with it.. if I can at least lose 6 lbs a month.. So far this month .25 lbs NOT good! LOL Maybe I have a fake TOM coming... Can only hope! Tho I am also going to try the IAN Drink Hoppy beer (not Atkins approved but gotta do what you gotta do) for 3 nights and not eat any dinner and see if that breaks the water hold... Keep your fingers crossed! :)

Way to go SuperHeroTeacher...just a little bit more and you're there!

Seems like this month is a slow month for most others. I feel for you...and I hope you soon get back to the types of losses you're used to seeing.

As for me, I'm losing about 1 lb to 1.5 lbs per week, which is what I've been losing since I started, even though I stick to 1,200-1,300 calories per day with NO cheating...the joys of being 55. On the plus side, my weight IS coming off and I'm feeling and looking better every month.

I had a big night on the beers last night and mostly ate healthy food yesterday. So down 0.6lbs today. Hope it sticks!

I need to get below 185 then the 180s are doomed!

same same same.... I am in a plateau... I have been this same "around" weight since 6/29 I am on plan 95% (not perfect ever) has jsut stalled me... So going to change er up and try the IAN diet starting tonight for 3 days. Eat Breakfast (2 eggs, sausage and 1 slice cheese) Lunch (Lettuce, Boars Head Turkey or Ham, shredded cheese and 1 tbsp ranch) then 2 beers for dinner... Lets see if the beer replacement for the (taco salad, Grilled Chix salad, Low carb tortilla pizza etc) makes the difference! I HAVE HOPE for the electrical ZAP to my system! LOL

Another loss for me this morning, although I don't hold out any hopes of winning this contest. I'm just happy that I now seem to be firmly in the 150's!

Sue - Good luck with the beer drinking. I'll keep my fingers crossed for great results.

I am having surgery on Monday (reconstruction after mastectomy), so I don't know how well I'll be able to stick to the diet while on recovery. I'm sure I'll gain a few pounds from the iv fluids, but they should come off easily. I will check back with you guys soon.

By the way, I lost 0.5 pounds yesterday, so my current weight is 199.1.

Hey, I'm also 55. A good year to get fit.

Still don't have a scale, starting a conference today, for a week, with buffets for every meal. I'm gonna die. But I've a plan, eggs for bfast, one entre for lunch/dinner, salad for the other. Ha.

Go Ian and Sue guzzle those dinners. I wish I liked beer.
