YEAH I WOOOSHED!!!! all the water I gained last week.. GONE GONE GONE!

LULU gosh... do you want to go thru the anguish of going up and trying to lose those same lbs again if you slip up good? I don't think so... Just remember the patience you had when you were stuck in the lower single digit 200's! You were there a LONG time if I remember what you said. Don't want to do that!! You are doing sooooooo well truly... Almost into the 180's WOW what a number. Be strong and yep.. those neat clothes (sorry about the styles) in the back of your closet are like treasures and a happy gift when they fit! :) Yeah to you about that!

Lulu NH 06-28-2013 04:41 AM

Wannaskipandlaugh - Congrats on the whoosh!!!! Hoping for my own - I want to see the 180's. From my original plan, 180 was my goal for the end of June and I am not even in the right decade. I know prednisone and peri-menopause impact everything....waiting for the downdowndown.

Oh Lulu I am sorry that Prednizone has done that to you! traveling does it too!! But look at what you have done since May! I think the 180's are just what less than 2 lbs away? I know you were 191 in Florida.. I bet you are there now... and so next week YOUR woosh will happen! We have 7 days to weigh until 7/4 ends now! I am hoping for at least 1 1/2 more... being 253.3 or lower would be agreeable.. tho I wanted the 240's!!!! So I can SKIP!! LOL I know that you and I will do it!

Mona.. You too! Hope you are doing well!!! and KATE well she is just doing it! Kate are you going to get another Kg off? Are you still running?? I have faith in you!

Lulu NH 06-29-2013 06:19 AM

1.9.4. I have no place to go but downdowndown!!! Let's see what I can do until July 4th - trying very hard to stay on plan while on the road - I travel for work. The good news is I have maintained Onederland for over 1 month - the old news is I need to move on to the 180s. I know what I need to do now it's a matter of doing it!!! Wannaskipandlaugh thanks for the support as I muddle through this journey!! True Confession: I almost fell into an old habit of ordering eggs benedict with hash browns this week but I stopped myself because I knew the scale would punish me...time to move on and make some progress!!!!

wannaskipandlaugh 06-29-2013 07:39 AM

Oh Lulu... good for you and your strength! Skipping over Eggs Benny and hash browns is a TOUGH thing! You should be rewarded on that scale I am thinking. Good resolve and I am VERY proud of you!

Down another 1/2 lb.. I'll take it to 254.5 so down 7 for this challenge.. I was hoping for 12 lbs total... but I still have 5 days... MIRACLES can occur!!!

Lulu NH 06-30-2013 05:03 AM

1.9.4. nothing new to report for today....wow Wannaskipandlaugh 7 pounds is awesome for this challenge so far!!! Congratulations!!!! You are so right that I don't want to lose the same weight over and over again - I've already done that enough in my life - I am loving my 16W jeans right now and I can't wait to move down to the next size - in the next 20 pounds I think I will be moving to regular sizes!! Weeding planned for today so that should help me sweat something off!!!

wannaskipandlaugh 06-30-2013 10:31 AM

Hello Lulu! Well I still think you are in for a loss of weight this week... I am thinking at least 1 1/2 lbs. That's what popped up in my head.. We need you back to that 191!!! :) IAN's down to 194 now So you both are tied!

Me lost about .25 lbs.. eh.. ok... tho I walked too and sweated, but.. maybe its the stress as I leased a new car yesterday and I am thinking that I did not get as good of a deal that I thought... but.. its a new car and I won't have any major repairs on it for years.. SO good thing... Just gotta stay under 12000 miles a year... That is going to be tough.. I am a driver!

Have a wonderful day Lulu and "see" you tomorrow!

Well I am down to 160.6 this morning! I leave for NYC for my dance conference at around 7:30am on July 5th. I would LOVE to be in the 150's by that time. We are performing in Central Park on Saturday, same costume as last year, but it should fit me a little differently! Plus I got new flowers for my hair. I had made some nice ones and worn them for several years, two barrets ,one on each side, but I just wanted something different, so I ordered a headband with different colored roses on it. I let someone else do the work! I'm going to get my hair shaped up tommorow. Really looking forward to this trip although I am out of practice and will probably be achy after 3 days of classes and performances. I was not feeling well last year and it reflected in my pictures and performance. I'm 12 lbs lighter at least this year.

Lulu, that predisone is a tough one. Good for you for holding the line. The weight will start to come off again.

wannaskipand laugh, you really keep this thread going. I appreciate you holding this space for us. I don't always get a chance to get here every day AND I appreciate that you do. Own that .25! You worked for it!

I'm finding what seems to be working for me is to eat a good substantial breakfast and protien at lunch and then try to eat very lightly at dinner time. I work from 3 to midnight so I eat breakfast and lunch late anyway. Sometimes I will just have some peanut butter at dinner, or a salad. I often want at before bed midnight snack and have found that a big glass of home made kefir works well for that.

Good luck to you all, here's hoping by the 4th we are all several lbs lighter!

happierme88 06-30-2013 07:33 PM

Im back! Heavier than the last time I was here, but oh well. I dont know how much I gained..but I know its more than 5 pounds. I thought about weighing myself, but I dont think Im going to for at least a week or two so Im not shocked/ sad/ discouraged. Im officially backing out of this challenge because there's no way Ill hit my original goal. If theres a labor day challenge, I will totally be in on that and my schedule is about to get a lot more predictable which should make sticking to plan easier (I hope!).

Sue, I skimmed the last weigh in page I was in and saw that you asked me about my test. It was extremely hard...the hardest test Ive ever taken, and I have absolutely no idea how I did lol. Ill get my scores in 2-3 weeks so Im crossing my fingers that I passed so I can continue on my road to getting my medical degree. I actually start seeing patients this week which is super exciting, but also nerve-racking. =) I also see that you've lost weight since I was last on. Thats SO great! Im so proud of you!

Good luck to everyone on this challenge and Ill check in soon =)

Happy Monday!!! Nothing new to report and I did sweat it out weeding and planting some additions in the front of my house!!! The heat and humidity are not my friends!! I know the losses will start again it's just a matter of when!! Focusing on the 180's and my lowest adult weight 178 for now!! then on to my ultimate goal!!! I want 188 and to change my ticker!!

WannaskipandlaughCongrats on your progress!!

Nona Congrats on the 160!!! Super awesome!!!and your adventure this week sounds wonderful!!! I agree with lighter for dinner and I also do not eat after 6pm not that I was a big after dinner snacker but just to curb myself!!

Happierme88 So glad you are back!!! You will get great news on your exams!!!!Your clothes will tell you when it is time to weigh!!! True Confession: I have to weigh to stay on track!!!

wannaskipandlaugh 07-01-2013 08:03 AM

Lulu... You water weight along with extra stuff... will go away. I know it will!

I lost that pesky .25 and probably alittle more but I weighed before that little more being gone happened... I am really hoping for at least 1 more lb by Thursday... if not more...

Do you think we should do a Labor Day weigh in next? Would that work for us all?

Lulu NH 07-02-2013 07:01 AM

Can't weigh today and bloated.....but ate on plan and drank plenty of water. I need to drink more water everyday!! Labor day sounds great!! I've been thinking about this alot and I plan to ski again this winter which I haven't done for quite a few years!!

wannaskipandlaugh 07-02-2013 08:00 AM

Mentioning skiing makes me feel cooler! That would be fun and nothing like shooshing down the slope being lighter that the snow! :) Snow Bunny! :)

I commiserate with you about the water gain. I woke up to find swollen feet (I had 2 bratwursts last night SODIUM Much? LOL But tasted GOODDDDD ).

As long as our weight on 7/4 is less than when we started.. we have won! That is my thinking. I am better off now then I was at Memorial Day! That's the truth!
