The last three days have been rough for me. One of the three days involved crazy levels of carbs. I'm paying for it with overnight bloat. Back on track today and already feeling better.

Stoopit hormones!

Keep up the good work!

I did induction for two weeks in August, got down to 152 from 160. Keep on OWL for 3 weeks or so got to 149, after that... I've been not good with my diet, eating plenty of carbs and to my surprise I only gain back the water weight that comes with carbs. I am at 151 today and starting induction again. Not for the weight loss but for the feeling. I've been tired and just bloated all this time so I know induction will keep the hunger down, and the energy up! After that giving OWL another try without the nuts (a real problem for me)

I did so well yesterday, but ended up being "done" with meals too early. I stayed up too late and ended up eating just one more thing...not a good time of the day to cave to carby cravings!

So, back on the wagon AGAIN today. Does three days of caving to carbs mean I need to do induction all over again? I think I need to stay at under 30 gm of carbs till further notice.

Georgia - I find more fat helps me crave less. Are you using any craving triggers? (caffeine, alcohol, fake sugars, pre-made food (bars, shakes etc)? I've also noticed that I do better if I spread my carbs out over the day. IE 10 at each meal rather than 0 at breakfast and lunch and then 30 at dinner.

HTH!

Thanks for the tips, Freddy. I do eat more fats and avoid all those craving-triggers. I think my cravings are triggered more by lack of sleep and anxieties. Over the weekend I did a lot of driving and stayed up late a couple nights in a row. Found myself too edgy to sleep, which just sent me into a cascade of edginess. Was eating macadamia nuts, one or two at a time, throughout the day. I was unwisely not keeping track. Wish I had measured them out first.

Ok, I'm out for now. Pushing my carbs up to 50 net gm for awhile and managing calories more. We'll see how that goes.

Post back onto induction for final loss

Let me first of all introduce myself. My name is David. I am from Glasgow In Scotland UK. I first started low carbing some time ago. I was over 33 stone (462 lbs) - i low carb'd all my way down to 14 St 7 Lbs ( 203 lbs) i am 6 ft 2. I have alot of excess skin so the Dr told me once i got as close to 14 stone as possible he would refer me. He did . I then got knocked back for the operations as they seen it only as a aesthetic procedure and didnt see how much the skin affects my life. I then got onto depression and put on anti depressants and put on more weight up to 18 st 2 lbs. So the dr then said because i am now on anti depressants they can refer me again once i get to the weight again. So i am now back on induction. I have been doing it for the last two weeks but i added 2 lbs - this was either because i was using too much mayo and cheese OR also my chest infection. As of today i am back 100% induction. Not going to take any cheese or very little and also i will not use any mayo - fingers crossed. I want this last 3 stone 11 lbs off ASAP. Can't wait to properly get back into Keto and get loosing. I hope my body will still respond to low carb. it has been at least two years since i have low carb'd. wish me luck guys.

Here are a few pics of how i used to be and how i am now
