Can I still join this??

My goal would be 20lb by Labour Day but I'd settle just to break this dang plateau!

And I want to get back to exercising. I'll have to take it easy because I have a hernia post gallbladder surgery but I'd like to get back to walking 60mins/day.

Welcome Jez - you can do weekly weigh ins if you like - I generally just note it on my sidebar and in the trackers and count the first weigh in and the last. The main thing is just the support we get from checking in here ..

I'm doing Atkins but it has been ages since I read the book - I track my foods on Lose it and keep my carbs around 20 ... I lose slowly but it's ok - I eat super food and I figure it will be another year of losing for me to get to where I think I will end up.

My body's fighting to hold on to this weight right now but since I've lost so much I figured it would happen soon ... I just wish it had held of till I was in onederland lol. I will keep plugging along and I will get a whoosh soon I hope.

Finishing my coffe then will get up and do some hooping for exercise ... 4.5 lbs till I'm in onederland - I want it so bad! Then I'll will be working towards 100 lost at 191 but Onderland first! For some strange reason having that 1 in front seems like such a big deal to me .. I can't wait - when it happens you will all probably hear me scream no matter where you live

I may have jury duty next week - ugh I hate the fact that they don't say where they just say to call Friday night and it is "all of Suffolk county" I will be on here asking for ideas for lunch things to bring and also what to plan for dinners since it could be late when I get home depending on where I have to go.

I'm thinking everyone must be on vacation since the thread is so quiet - so I will just post to keep us us near the top

Going to a dinner at friends tonight - I figure I will have steak and hope they have regular salad in addition to the potato that I won't eat. I asked if I could bring anything thinking I could do broccoli salad or something but they said no. And I will drink tons of water since it is supposed to be around 90 today and this will be on the deck.

And planning on making salads with meats or eggs on them to take if I get called for jury duty next week .. And water do we sense a theme with the water part at least hehehe

I havent been posting here because I have nothing to report yet

Still at a plateau but I just started Atkins so Im not too worried. And I havent been exercising because of my schedule - Im working nights for the next 3 weeks. Ugh! Im looking into buying a treadmill so I can walk indoors. Im thinking a manual one for now because it's less expensive and it's easy to store away in my room.

Went off plan for the first time. My toddler playgroup picked peaches and berries today, and I ate a peach + a couple handfuls of blueberries and blackberries. So, uh, how bad is that?

Not really bad considering what else is out there to eat. I honestly wouldnt fret too much about a bit of fruit. Berries are fairly low in carbs anyway. The peaches are high in sugar but again...it's not bread, chips, chocolate, potatoes...etc...

I've been staying on plan but need to get in more exercise! Did some squats and took my son to the park yesterday. Slipped and hurt my knee a little today, hoping it doesn't swell tomorrow. Swimming it will be for the next week or two.
Glad to see everyone else is hanging in there

Better than chip or fries - I wouldn't do that often - but when peaches are at their peak of perfection locally I eat a half of one a day for the week they are perfect .. It may slow me down a bit but I'm doing this for life and I love them so moderation like that keeps me from feeling deprived .. I am a total food snob now though - if I am going to have it - it has to be perfection - not just acceptable - that is my only rule other than the amount (half for me)

Also how many carbs are you doing a day - you may have been over but just make sure today is back in that range.
