Almost no loss the first week?

Hi, I just finished the first week of LC. I'm not doing Atkins, but I'm following the Duke/ Dr. Westman plan in the back of Gary Taubes "Why We Get Fat..." book, which is essentially Atkins induction.

So after the whole week I have only lost 1.2 lbs. I would like to lose a total of 25 lbs. and this is a bit frustrating that I lost so little. The only thing I can think of was that I didn't cut out my one vice: Crystal Light decaf tea. I drink a lot of it instead of plain water. Could that have caused it? I am going to cut it out completely this week and see. Also I haven't done much exercising (I'm not sedentary or anything, but have a minor injury to my knee from a recent ski trip and can't overdo it while healing- doctor's orders).

Current stats are 5'3" and started at 169 lbs. This morning (1 week) I was 167.8 . Kind of frustrating!
A typical day for me has been:
B- 2-3 eggs, scrambled in about 1T of butter with 1 oz. of cheddar. 3-4 sausage links.
L- some sort of meat with cheese (chicken burgers or chicken sausages from sam's club, that type of thing). Or tuna with mayo and some marinated mozz. cheese balls. If I'm still hungry later I'll also have a string cheese.
D- A grilled chicken salad with 2-3 cups mixed greens, 5-6 cherry tomatoes, 3-4 strips bacon, 1/2 avocado, 1 oz. cheddar topped with ranch dressing.

Generally no other snacks/food.

Besides the crystal light, any other glaring issues from my daily menu? Please help me be successful!

Hello there.. I will say I don't know anything about this diet but if it is like the Atkins I would just stick to drinking water and no diet drinks etc.. maybe someone on here will jump in on this..

However a loss is a loss so even if is is only 1.2 pounds. Sometimes our bodies take time to adjust and maybe next week you'll have a bigger loss

I think 1.2 pounds of weight loss is very good for your current weight. Those who lost 5 pounds the first week are usually much more overweight.

Also, the first week, I chalk up weightloss to water weight.
