Flax and hazelnut flours
 

Hi all - so this is not induction stuff but I just picked up some flax and hazelnut flours. The flax is 0 net carbs and the hazelnut is 2. I think the hazelnut will be good as a pie crust with cheesecake.

Anyone have any good flax recipes?

MMM mm mm. I can't believe I never did these before! I am making the MIMs (muffin in a minute).

The basic recipe is 3 tbs flax meal, 1/2 teasp baking powder, 1 egg. (Mix dry ingreds then add egg and mix well in a coffee mug. Microwave for 1 min).

You can customize, ie add a packet of splenda and some Cinnamon for dessert and top with butter or add some savory herbs and some grated cheddar.

Even my BF who does not do atkins likes it.
