Not thirsty?
Anyone else have to force themselves to drink or try and remember that you're supposed to be drinking water on a regular basis? I am very rarely thirsty and have to make myself drink. (I only wish I had the same problem with being hungry)

Some days, I am like you, and barely get my minimum amount of water in. I know it isn't enough though, because those are the days I tend to eat more, and less induction-friendly things.
Other days, I can't get enough water, and feel like I'm going to float away. Yesterday, for example, I was incredibly thirsty, and ended up drinking 2 gallons of water. My rule for hunger (because my stomach doesn't growl- I don't feel hunger pangs like a normal person) is that before I eat anything, I drink a minimum of 8 ounces of water. Often, I'm just thirsty, but mistake it for hunger. |
I found myself being a lot more thirsty this week during the day, perhaps due to my body getting rid of the excess water weight. I also had to rush to the restroom more at work which is at a large high school. Two times I had to leave my class and make it to the faculty restroom, but I have a feeling I should get a small can of Lysol or something so I can just go to the female students' restroom which is close by my classroom. It's amazing how filthy those girls can make the stalls by 10:00 a.m. LOL

I use a 32 oz container for my water (which is usually iced green tea) and lug it around with me everywhere. Unfortunately, it is clear plastic and horribly tea stained but when I wear brown I'm totally coordinated! On most days get close to 96 ozs of liquid and for me the key is keeping it ice cold.
