Congrats Glamazon! I love when that happens, and you weigh yourself again and again because you can't believe it. That was me during my first week on Induction before moving to OWL. Every day I would weigh again and again wondering where it was all going haha.

Dandydiva, my weight has stayed the same since going onto OWL but I can literally see my body shrinking. Do you take measurements? I really want to have my fiance measure me when we get some time cus I want some reaffirmation on what I'm seeing is true. You probably are losing inches as well :)

SandyFanny, congrats on your 1 lb loss, every lb counts :)

:( NOT a good week. TOM is near and I feel F~A~T...UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Up 5 lbs. I know it's from TOM but dang, it's so discouraging :(
I looked at my full length reflection in the mirror though and I could see definately see my progress - legs were smaller and more toned as well as arms and my clothes were looser. I do measure each week as well, but there was very little change. Guess I'm just bummed out a bit.
Congrats! though to everyone who has lost this week though :D

Stupid TOM!

Stupid TOM spoils our weigh-in day happy! Islandchick, you'll lose the TOM nonsense in no time. Loose-fitting clothes and definition in our bodies are sure indicators that we're on our way. Have a great week!

Great week! Stayed on track and down about 7 lbs from last week. Now the challenging part (for me), to add more water and start exercising.

current stats:
SW: 182
Last week: 185
CW: 177.8
GW: 152

That was me last week and this week down 7lbs. So just stick with it and I'm sure you will see a big number next week.

islandchick1 10-09-2010 11:46 AM

Thanks ya'll! :) I appreciate it. Have a great week :D

Week 6/16 - Weigh In

:cp: Great job ladies!

Here's my stats:Challenge SW: 234.5 lbs
Last Week's Weigh-In: 222.4 lbs
Today's CW: 223.1 lbs (+0.7 lbs from last week)
Total loss to-date: 11.4 lbs
30 lb GW: 204.5

I'm up this week, but not as much as I had feared ... did a lot of emotional eating, but got back on track Thursday & want to rock-it next week :)

Not bad though - my average to-date is just under 2 lbs/wk, so, on track to 30 lbs by Christmas! Yay!!

For those ladies who have been here from the beginning of the 16 wk challenge...a loss of 2 lbs/wk = 32 lbs gone by Christmas ... stay motivated chickies!! It is do-able!!

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend to all you Canadian Chicks! :turkey:

Cher, there's a reason I teach English; I suck at math. But is yours right? You were at 224.5 last week and at 223.1 this week? Then you LOST 1.4 pounds, girl! Your total loss is right, though.

I've lost 11 pounds in 6 weeks - 1.8 pounds average loss per wk. So, if I can maintain that loss weekly, I'll be down another 18 pounds in ten more weeks...and ONE pound away from making our challenge goal.

Another 18 pounds will also mean I've lost a total of 56 pounds, and I'll be exactly half-way to my goal of 135. There's magic in these numbers! (If I've done the math right)

Thanks, Cher, for an encouraging post. Congratulations on your loss!

cher37 10-09-2010 05:46 PM

Thanks Sandy for proofing my post :D

I made the correction ... but no matter how I swing-it - I still gained.

Anyhoo - isn't it encouraging when we break down the bigger goal into smaller, more seemingly attainable weekly ones?! We CAN do this :cheer2:

Linsy 10-09-2010 07:28 PM

I couldn't decide if the scale said 265 or 264...probably 265 but I'm going to go with 264, LOL. Which means (maybe) down 1 pound this week! I thought I was going to gain  because I ate hardly any veggies and water this week...I lived off of bacon and eggs pretty much. Even if I didn't lose at least I didn't gain. I need to have an extra-good week this week so I can melt off a few more pounds before my boyfriend visits! Congratulations on all of your losses!

sandyfanny 10-09-2010 09:27 PM

Linsy and Cher...girls!

We got to get goin' on our challenge...we've done so well. We can keep on keepin' on! I'm proud of all of us for not falling down, falling out...sticking with our WOE.

Here's a big sprinkle for us this week::dust:

StephanieM 10-09-2010 09:31 PM

Congrats on a good week everyone!

ghost girl 10-10-2010 02:52 AM

Well I lost 2 pounds this week. I am happy with that.

sandyfanny 10-10-2010 07:34 AM

Congratulations ghost girl!

Way to go, Ghost Girl! Two pounds is an excellent loss; you're going to make your challenge goal, no problem!:witch:
