I was put on a new med almost two weeks ago and as with many meds one of the side effects is nausea. Well, I have read lots of posts of people who have had nausea with this med and I am now having it...not real bad but certainly enough to make me not wanna eat as much. This med takes awhile to build up in your system so I'm wondering how the next few weeks are gonna be. I also wonder if I can continue to lose weight on low carb by not eating as much? does anyone know?

Hi Leslie,

I'm sorry you are having side effects of the medication. Fresh ginger slices simmered in hot water to make ginger tea really helps with that nauseous feeling or if you have a tea ball, you can grate fresh ginger and put that in hot water to make tea.

Don't know if eating less will have anything to do with losing weight. I think Dr. Atkins wrote that during Induction one must eat 20 net carbs a day..
