Default can I join you

I have only posted a few times on 3FC. I was on Xenical and lost close to 40 lbs, but since Aug I have stopped using Xenical and want to lose the last 10-20 lbs on my own. Since I have been trying to do it on my own I have become slack and stopped losing. I have not put on any weight, but just stopped losing. While on the Xenical I was counting cals and that seemed to be the best for me. I need to get back into the swing of things and get the weight loss moving again. Maybe I can join you guys and restart. thanks for reading.

Hey! Welcome to the calorie counters forum!

My finger is in a splint and typing is hard, but wanted to welcome you.

Amanda, what did you do to your finger?

The danger of cooking all of the time and purchasing really good knives for that cooking...when you drop a japanese chef's knife while washing it, and it lands squarely on your knuckle, it makes a nice deep cut. The splint is to keep me from bending the knuckle and thus ripping out the stitches.

That's what I was thinking: OUCH! Feel better soon.

Soon2beslim: The more the merrier. Did you have to exercise to lose that or just from diet/xeni? If not, that may be just the thing to add in to get things moving.

Mami - yes, I had to exercise to lose the weight, but with the cold weather now I have really slacked off and need to get back into it.

Mandalinn82 - sorry to hear about your finger, hope it feels better soon.

Thanks all for the Welcome.

I see some of you do fit day. I usually keep track of my cals in a book. Can anyone do fit day, if so, how can I?

just go to www.fitday.com and sign up!

Then you have to change the settings to make your food journal public and put your username in on your 3FC profile, and you're set!

Amanda, I know what you mean about sharp knives!!!! I have a set that I have had numerous accidents with. My BIL was carving the turkey 2 years ago and we had to send him to the ER and he got 6 stitches.

Susan, Yes, I guess I can fix dinner. What would everyone like??

Today I joined fitday. Hope this helps me get back on the wagon. I really need to be keeping track of all my cals because it is so easy to eat crap when you don't see how bad it looks on paper. I did so well from April to August, and really need to get back to it. Christmas is going to be tough, but I know I can do it!! I think i did everything right on fitday today, but how do I find out some of the amounts - carbs, protiens, etc -I should be having. I know how many cals and fat grams I should be having from when I was set up for xenical. Will that change now that I am doing this on my own? Any help you can offer please.
