Take Off VS Fast Forward?
I see that the difference btwn the 2, is the UNLIMITED Protein, and no lites for FF, but why would someone choose a FF over T/O? Just wondering. I am to start a FF tomorrow, but would like to seem some results. My COD said that often you will see a gain initially from a FF, but then it comes off....
Help?

Makena I don't do the lites or any bars so FF is my only option. The main difference between the two are:
TO- 2 lites, 6 oz protien, and 2 Veggies
FF- no lites, unlimited protien (chicken, turkey, white fish) and unlimited greens (that helps raise the calorie intake to coutneract the missing lites)
When I first started LAWL they only had FF, but it was done with oranges or canteloupe. I really have never seen a difference no matter which one I have done. DH says that FF keeps my less crabby...so I guess thats something!!

NO difference??!?!! You must have been bummed out! Did it at least curb your cravings?
Hmm... I guess I will give it a go tomorrow. (my COD suggested it)
Less crabby is good..hehe (I did the T/O once, and actually wasn't that bad - I was super busy that weekend, and hardly home, so I actually found it easier than trying to fit all of my food in, if that makes any sense)
Do you have to stick with the same protein all day? Or mix it up a bit?

I also do FF, as I do not do any bars............You can eat any proteins, but they need to be lean........fish, chicken, beef (well trimmed), pork tenderloin........etc. You can use lite salad dressings.......um..oh, wait, I found my sheet......what I said, plus up to 2 eggs each day..........soy cheese (up to 3 slices), tofu..1c.....green vegetables.......RF cheese up to 2 slices, light cream cheese, 1T. per day, lite mayo 1 T. per day, Mustard 1 T. per day, seasonings that are low in sodium.........artificial sweeteners, up to 3 packets per day.......coffee, tea, caffeinated........up to 2 6 oz cups per day, diet soda.........24 ounces per day, hot fresh lemon water........up to 2 c. per day, decaf coffee or tea.....unlimited.........plus the fast forward drink.
I usually use 4 oranges instead of the drink. It is way cheaper, and oranges are pretty darn good right now I just may join in on this FF..........I have to get my s*** together for the Sat WI for Joni's challenge

Nicole, WOW that has changed or I don't remember (which may be the case)! I could have been drinking Diet Coke for the past two days and eating chesse.......right now those 2 things seem like heaven!! It's probably a good think that I didn't know/remember that though FF helps detox me from my caffiene addiction ! Thank you for all of the information, next time it I will remember
Makena when I said no differnece I meant I lose the same regardless. Sorry for being vauge in my previous response.

Sammy - You can have four oranges, or 1/2 canteloupe for each day of TO/FF in place of the juice. But when you go back to your COD, make sure they give you the handout that has the specifics of the program. (You too Makena). They have papers that have everything you're allowed on each TO and FF. Make sure your COD does their job and gives you the information to take home and use instead of just telling you quickly at your WI.

Sammy - That is also the reason for me doing the FF. I was having a hard time this past week, so I believe it is it detox, and jump start me again. I'm just not sure why the ff vs the t/o. I'm sure they know what they are doing, so I'm just gonna follow their directions. I have been unable to find Knudsen's here, so I did buy their juice.... I wish I hadn't tho. It seems way over-priced, but I want to do this whole-heartedly.
Nicole and Cassi - Thanks for telling me about the fruit substitutes - I wish I had realized that before I bought the juice - but I'm sure I will need to do this again sometime, so I will try it then.
Cassi - I do have a handout now, so I will follow it to a T!

Makena - don't be suprised if the COD tells you that there is no substitute for the TO juice - mine tried that. Apparently this counselor was not prepped for "How to deal with Kim". She's better now.

Good point, Cassi...........I do have the sheet for FF, and sometimes the COD just doesn't think to give you all of the info. I now have a folder where I put any paperwork they give me, so I have it when I need it. My COD didn't look very thrilled when I did my FF with oranges instead of their juice, and the counselor (she's new) even tried to tell me that I should eat lite bread on FF. I just attributed it to her being new, but now I am wondering, has anyone heard this before? I don't think it is right. Anyway.........as Cassi said, it is good to keep in mind that we have each paid for all the information, and we should be given it..........but if for some reason you are not given ALL o9f the info you need.........ask for it Good luck everyone on your TO's..........I just may try tomorrow.

It seems like lite bread on TO or FF kinda defeats the purpose???

That's exactly what I thought. I will ask about it on Sat. It's weird......our COD got a new manager, not long after I started. Now, I haven't seen ONE person that was there when I started. I havne't been going on weekday mornings anymore, so some of them may still be there.......I'm not sure.......but when I do go in, it is always the manager, and this not so bright lady (the one that suggested the lite bread). She is constantly telling me about her cheating husband......yada yada yada. I feel like I am counseling her. Oh well. Thank goodness for you girls. I am just waiting it out until things improve there
