Default what about Chinese soup??

I know this is wierd since tomorrow is turkey-day...hee hee

but.....I would love to have some chinese soup....from a restaurant....I used to order three delicacie soup...large size for my meal.....Small amount of noodles in there with chicken,pork and beef....I know one of the problems would be salt....but I couold do it right after WI day and then drink lots of water.....WHat do you think????? thanks maybe I could order a small and have a salad.....but I would love a large ( that is all I would eat)..nance

Nance - The sodium is astronomical in Chinese plus the monosodium glut. that most of them use on all their meats and veggies... then you've got the fat in the broth... I'm not telling you NOT to eat it... I'm telling you to decide - is that the "cheat" you want and are you willing to pay the price to eat it? Also, is there a way to make it yourself and keep it closer to POP? Lastly, if you do eat it, could you do it in moderation and go with the small?
I think you're doing a great job and I don't want to see you sorry over a bowl of soup unless that bowl of soup is worth it to you!

thanks Pearl...good ideas....WE ate out last nite.....And wow the salt...I did fine but my eyes were puffy this morning thanks a bunch of flowers...nance
