Well, last night I got home late and didn't "cook" anything I'd planned--I had a ww tortilla, a blob of beans, a slosh of salsa, a l'il hunk of cheese.... and some ice cream.

Oh, well--It could have been a total disaster, as the Siren's song of Taco Bell was calling to me on my way home late with nothing productive accomplished. (And if you've never heard the Siren's song of Taco Bell... well... it's a seductive version of La Cucaracha...) So, someone pat me on the back, please.

Today:

br: irish oats, milk, honey
sn: apple
lunch: greek yogurt, honey, grape nuts, grapes, tangerine
sn: popcorn
sn: apple
dinner: I'm going to try to do the miscellaneous ingredient curry thing tonight

Hi all! Luvmypup, I know that song all too well.....

I managed to resist the lure of several things yesterday, esp as I thought I was going to be on my own for dinner. But drove on past, and found that DH hadn't gone to his yoga class, so I was able to proceed with my plan of leftover salmon.

B: oatmeal with raisins, walnuts, flaxseed, 1% milk
ww toast w/pb

S: Clif Nectar bar (lemon, vanilla & cahsew) 160 cals, 6 g fat, 4 g protein, 6 g fiber
Organic: dates, roasted cashews, goji berries (what are these?), lemon juice, vanilla

L: salad

S: yogurt, applesauce

D: chicken of some sort....

I didn't do so badly on travel yesterday, decent lunch w/ salmon and broccoli, but it is good to be back. Minor crisis today involving a perfectly good run gone bad, a cranky kid with a fever, a very very long train, and a vial of fluids which had to be delivered to the pediatrician by 5 caused me to turn dinner over to DH. Hence it was what it was. Better than the M&Ms I had for dinner last night.

B-raison bran w/ soymilk, banana, OJ, coffee w/ skim
S-half a 'wheat' bagel w/ walnut cream cheese (any superfood in a storm!)
L-frittata w/ salsa, yogurt, tangerines
S-apple, carrots, Kashi bar
D-potstickers, baguette w/ bruschetta topping, dk chocolate
S-100 cal cookie pack (last one for a while)
