Default From Gold To Red- Scared of Gaining

I recently moved up from the gold plan to the red plan due to my exercising
5+ hours a week. My question..I have been on a plateau..will this big of a jump in food cause me to gain. Anyone with this experience?

Buffy- That big of a jump in food may actually cause you to lose. You need to think positive and realize that the more you exercise the more fuel your body needs to keep going. Give it a couple of weeks, you may be pleasantly surprised. Your plateau may have been from not getting enough food. Stay strong and keep focused on the benefits you are doing for your body.

Probably the reason is that there isn't enough of a calorie change from gold to purple. Just the 2 oz. of proteins and a veg.

I went from purple to red because of exercising and lost 3.4 lbs from Wed to Saturday weigh in. I had a migraine last week and missed some exchanges a couple of the days so I remained the same on wk 2 of the switch.

I bet you lose at your next WI - however if you stop the exercising for a week and eat the calories of red you will probably gain.
