ok im getting back to weight lifting ( started yesterday) and my one concern is this i did weight lift before ALOT and got down nicely the only thing is should i tell myself that im not going to lose weight (scale going down ) for the first couple of months ? this is what i dont remember all i remember is the scale not moving for a while

The scale can be misleading. When you're weightlifting, you might not lose weight because you're building muscle. Now muscle might weigh more than fat, but it's a lot smaller.

You might want to measure your progress by measuring inches and BF% in additition to the scale.

I find that fitting into a smaller pair of jeans is a truer measure of my progress than the scale. I try to buy one pair that is a size too small whenever I restock my wardrobe.
