Question Free Weights - Question

I am spending five weeks at my sisters as part of my summer vacation and she only has 7 pound free weights. I was using 10 at the gym with two sets. Here is my question: Should I get ten pounders? Or can I get by with three sets with the 7 pounders? She lives way out in the country and it takes a drive to get to the store.

Also what can I do for my upper legs here at her house if I choose to stick with just free weights as opposed to the gym? I have to tell you I have an old achilles tear and it gets in the way for some leg exercises that require a lot of weigth bearing on the lower leg and ankle. (squats can work if I use a chair etc to help me get down....) I know the leg muscles are the biggest and it will help me if I can continue to get them more muscular.

I am also using her elliptical trainer for 30 minutes of cardio.

Hi,

Take a look at sumptuous.com. krista has a lot of suggestions and also a workout with household items. Your sister may have something of that.

good luck,
