Hi! I am new to this site so I am not quite sure of how to find "groups" that I would fit in to sooo... let me tell you about me and let you decide. I am 38 yrs old, married, and a mother of a beautiful 17 yr old dancer . I consider myself at least 35 lbs over weight. I am on week 9 1/2 of the Nicoderm patch (just quit smoking after 31 yrs-started at age 7!! ) and I have recently joined a gym. I have gained weight (but lost inches) since joining but I am getting discouraged with the number game .
Please let me know of any groups that are going for my kinda story (I know there has to others like me out there

Tammy--First of all..Congrats on quitting smoking!!!!
The weight gain is ok since muscle weighs more than fat and U have lost inches..Just leave the scale alone at first and watch the tape measure...
