I've decided that tomorrow, May 3rd I am going to attempt to refrain from eating between meals.
I just have no control over what I am doing! I try to refrain from eating too much, but I just can't do it! So bare with me... I'm starting this post so that I can rant away my insanity tomorrow! (I know I'm going to need it!)
I have commited to doing this same thing and I have really shocked myself that I have done it for two whole days now. When I look back at the diet plans I have followed in the past, I think that the two or three snacks per day were always a major stumbling block to me. I really think this may be the path that works for me and I hope that it is the thing that works for you also. It has been amazing and EMPOWERING to know that I only have to eat 3 times a day and that I don't have to think about it any more than that. Marny has been a huge inspiration to me. If I want it and it is not mealtime, I will say to myself outloud, "No, I have to wait until meal time." Silly as it sounds, it really does help.
One thing that has helped me... and this probably is not being pure... but if I start to get that sick feeling (like I am not going to make it to my next meal), I will drink a V8. They are filling and they are the only thing that I am considering 'free' right now. I am trying to have them ONLY when I absolutely need them, but they have helped me tremendously.
GOOD LUCK!

You guys rock! What faith you are showing in the program and yourselves to try it! I'm smiling so big right now.
Water--since you determine your definition of abstinence, it could include a V8. You may feel better if you have a planned V8 drink somewhere during the day so that with it, you are within your plan of abstinence instead of it being something extra.
Ok... it didn't really work But I did have just two snacks. (and they were 3 hours after meals!) So I'm counting that as luck And maybe again soon I'll be ready to try for just meals.
Tyler, you crack me up!!! (Although Marny's comment was just as good!)
I'm trying hard to stick to my actual snacks and meals! Rather than grazing. And I've kicked all my trigger foods out of the house! I've also asked my family to do my grocery shopping so I'm not tempted in that department. Luckily for me, they've agreed to help out!
