Default Curves anyone?

I have been contemplating joining Curves and just wanted to get opinions about it from those of you who may be doing it. What appeals to me is a workout in 30 minutes because with a parttime job, two kids etc, finding workout time is difficult for me. When I go to the YMCA, other than the treadmill, I'm not sure what I should be doing, etc. I suppose there are people who are really good at figuring out their own workout, but I'm not one of them unfortunately and when it takes me forever to get in what *I* feel is a good workout, I get easily bored, discouraged and my mind gets swamped with all the things I know I need to be done at home.

So, to not make this any longer, does anyone here go to Curves and what is your opinion of it? Has it helped with your weight loss?

Default Curves did not work for me

Hi,

I joined Curves in February and I enjoyed the workout but after 6 weeks I got measured and I did not lose anything. I went 4 to 5 times a week and I went around two and a half times most days, and you only need to go around twice. If it works for you then I think that is great, I just found that it was not enough for me. Also they recommend you do some other form of exercise also, I didn't join a Gym to have to do other exercise also. I go to Golds Gym now. I have been going for a week and I lost 2 pounds. If you get bored easily then you will probably get bored with going around and around all of the time. You should try it though. Allot of times they will give you a free workout to see if you like it.
