I am new here and am looking for some info. I have absolutely NO coordination and would like to do some kind of workout video....does anyone have any ideas? I have about 150lbs to lose.

Thanks!

I highly reccommend Walk Away The Pounds with Leslie Sansone! Her workouts are so easy to follow, and you can get a little more intense as your level of fitness improves. Here is a link to the DVD that I have, and I love it, because it has the 1,2, and 3 mile walk so that you can move up as you are ready.

I hear you! I can't do any of the dance-related workouts. I couldn't handle the Tai Bo stuff. I actually fell down mutliple times trying one of my sister's tapes.

I've never tried the Leslie Sansone tapes, but I've heard good things. I also suggest finding a Pilates video. They're more focused on strength than coordination (but then more strength usually equals greater coordination). I like the MTV Pilates video, but I'm sure there are plenty of other great ones out there!

Leslie Sansone's dvd's are great...low impact, simple steps, very easy to follow and they work! If you are going to try Pilates, I can suggest Winsor Pilates. I love them!!

I'm pretty much a klutz, and I do the crunch series dvds...I really like them! They are fun, AND you learn how to dance! Honestly, if I can do them, ANYONE can! Just don't get discouraged if you can't do it the first time through. But I did them at 350 pounds, so can you! And it's helped me not be so klutzy anymore!

Crunch Fat Burning Pilates is a great workout - it's the only Crunch dvd I have though. I agree, the first time through I felt a little uncoordinated, but Ellen is great at telling you what's coming up next. It is actually one of the few dvd's I have that I actually work up a sweat within the first 15 minutes. I'm actually off to do it right now...

WOW! Thank you so much for all of your responses! I did the one mile walk last night, it wasn't bad, only took 18 minutes. I figure I will do this for a while and then "graduate" to the Crunch videos - THANKS KAYLEY!

You are all such an inspiration!!!

Meg
