Default How did I NOT know this about Strawberries!?

I had a couple of strawberries with my breakfast the other day and I went to put them into fitday (not really knowing ANY N.information about them) and those 2 big strawberries were only 11 calories! I had myself three more, which really filled me up (for only 27 calories overall!!), and they've been my fruit of choice for the last three days.

Is it too good to be true!? Does everyone know this and I've just been in a hole the last 21 years?

That surprised me too--I love strawberries when they are nice and sweet.

I think we are fooled by their sweetness! That and there's been low carb chitter chatter about avoiding fruits because they're carby.
But nope! Berries are a wonderful food!

I love strawberries when they are in season, I eat them a lot during summer.

Another thing about berries is they contain natural antioxidants, they help flush your body of nasty toxins. Blueberries, strawberries, black and raspberries. Mmmmm.

Even better is when you can dip them in FF cool whip and basically eat a ton of them for about 100 calories!! Using FF vanilla yogurt or chocolate pudding as a dip is also a favorite of mine.

The calories in strawberries surprised me too!! The last 4 days, i've been having Vanilla Yogurt mixed with sliced strawberries and Honey Nut Crunch cereal for breakfast. So yummy, and it always fills me up until lunch!

YUM!!!
