Default Two Week Results

Well after the first two weeks of Induction, here are my results
I'm down 10.2 pounds, yay! Some of my jeans that I wore last summer are starting to fit again, and I feel so much better. My goal for the next two weeks is to drink more water, and start exercising more. Thanks for all the support thus far guys, I even made it through TOM without even one cheat.

WOW!!!! That is great. I am going to be starting the Atkins, but I have question. I did not buy the book yet because I don't have the money. So I was wondering if I just followed the acceptable food list on the Atkins website if that would be ok. Please help me. Thanks

You can use the food list on the Web site. But, if you go to www.half.com, you can find the book pretty cheaply. You should be able to get one for about $1 plus about $4 for shipping.

I bought my book at a thrift store for like 50 cents, and they had tons there...you may want to look around at area thrift stores first.
I also understand they have added new things to the accepted foods list since Dr Atkins passed, stuff that was not in the copy that I have. They say you are allowed low carb tortilla's and such, but those have been known to stall people so you have to be careful.
My advice is to drink lots of water and keep your carb count around 20g a day or a little lower. I eat eggs, bacon, fresh meats, veggies low in carbs, cheese etc. Good Luck
