On Thursday, which is one of my normal workout days at the gym, I slipped and fell on some ice and just about gave myself whiplash! I was ok, but awfully sore. I skipped working out for the first time in 2 months. When I went to workout today, I felt that extra day.
I have my next weigh in on Monday. I don't know what to expect. But I have a feeling that I'm starting to plateau. I am going to need to spice things up a bit. Add more weight to my reps or vice versa.
I have set these goals for myself:
I weight 177 today (as far as I know).
By:
- April 15th I would like to weigh 170
- October 10th I would like to weigh 150
- by June 9, 2007 (my 35th bday) I would like to weigh 125. My goal weight.
Now that I have my crossbow set-up at home and know how to use it, I think I might add an extra strength training day to my routine. Right now I do it 3 days a week and 6 days a week of cardio, which I'm already doing. I do an hour of cardio 3 days a week and the other 3 I only do about 30 - 45 mins. I basically work out every day except Sunday.
At any rate, I think I have set obtainable goals for myself. If it's icy by your house, BE CAREFUL!
