Default Favorite food items/brands

I thought it might be helpful if we shared some of our favorite WW friendly food items or store brands so if you have any please post them

some of mine:

Kraft smooth peanut butter (not low-fat but in small amounts is okay)

President's Choice TGTBT soups - available at Loblaws, Great Canadian Superstore etc. (not sure about U.S. stores) - just add boiling water and you are good to go - faves - vegetable couscous, vegetarian chili, ministrone.

Renee's Naturally light dressings - spring onion, Ceasar, sundried tomato
-found in produce section, ususally where they keep bagged salad items

Dole spring mix - comes in a handy bag, nice to add to romaine and leaf lettuce salads

Wasa Crispbreads - nice crunch to them and great with another fave of mine - Laughing cow cheese!

Baby carrots - can't live without these, washed and precut/bagged in the produce section (brands Bunny, Green Giant)

Healthy Choice puddings - chocolate, rice pudding - good creamy texture and a nice low fat sweet fix

Crystal Light - lime flavour, kiwi strawberry

Nature's Valley Granola bars - real granola without all the added chocolate chips, marshmallows, yogurt or chocolate topping that turns granola into candy Love the almond ones and the pb ones

Green & Blacks organic chocolate bars - pricey but worth every penny! I get them at the health food stores - favorite flavours = Maya Gold - dark chocolate with orange and spices; Dark chocolate with currants and nuts .

I love veggie burgers, especially the Morningstar Farms Tomato & Basil Moz and black bean burgers. I just bought a new variety yesterday, the Thai Burgers...they are all good with a whole wheat english muffin.

The Morningstar Farms "sausage" patties are great too, 1 pt.

I also love the artificial crab legs by Louis Kemp. 1 pt for 3 crab sticks. Great in salads and stir-fries.

Egg Beaters - 1 pt for a two serving cup.

This is a great topic because I'm always searching for new food ideas to add to my "list".

Besides, this forum is where I first learned of Laughing Cow light cheese. Now I can't imagine what I'd ever do without it!

Velveeta Light - 1 oz. = 1 point
Tyson Grilled Chicken Breast Strips - 3 oz. = 2 points (grilled strips only)
La Tortilla Factory Whole Wheat Low-Carb Low Fat 7" Tortillas - 1 pt ea.
Old El Paso Thick N Chunky Salsa Wild For Mild - 0 points (I've tried so many brands of salsa and I always come back to this)
Smuckers Low Sugar Strawberry Preserves - 2 tbsp = 1 point
Philadelphia Fat Free Strawberry Cream Cheese - 2 tbsp = 1 point
Carb Countdown Fat Free Dairy Drink (sub for skim milk) - 1 cup = 1 point
Sargentos Light String Cheese - 1 stick = 1 point
WW Bagels (not the best, but I can't find any other 2 point bagels)
Boca Garden Veggie Burgers - 1 patty = 1 point
Kellogg's Complete Wheat - 3/4 c = 1 point There is no substitute for this stuff! I could eat it all day long.

I'm looking for more protein foods that are convenient and not necessarily meat. If anyone has suggestions, please post!

Default Dr. Praegger's Potato Pancakes

They are only 50 calories apiece. I eat two of them with either egg substitute or Morningstar Farms sausage patty for breakfast. Really tasty and a nice change from cereal or toast for breakfast.

Quaker instant oatmeal with 1/3 less sugar - I like the apple one but add a little cinnamon to boost the flavour.

Where do you find these - are they frozen or what?

Thanks.
