Default Fantastic Foods

I just started WW at home. I don't love cooking, especially dinner when I get home from work. Usually I just would make some sort of pasta and sauce cause it was quick and easy. Well, pasta is definitely out of my points range, so I looked around the health food store and found boxed meals by a company called Fantastic Foods. I've had tacos (1 serving=1/4 cup; one point, add a tortilla, only 4 points), chili was 1 cup=5 points(with added kidney beans) and totally filled me up. I was so excited to find these.

Pasta shouldn't be out of the points range for you......Have tried whole wheat pasta? So much better for you and the benefits of fibre. Thanks for the tip about "fantastic foods", I'll try to find them at my store. Thanks.

Unfortunately, pasta is a weakness of mine. I can't cook a pot of pasta and eat just one serving, so I try to stay away from it. Thanks for reminding me about whole wheat pasta. I always forget it's a healthier option.

If you felt adventurous one weekend you could make a giant pot of your own chili and freeze it... It'd be much cheaper, and the chili I make is 3 pts for 2 cups. (I use a soy ground beef substitute, but in a pot of chili you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference!)

And I know what you mean about the pasta... sheesh... who can eat 1 cup of pasta, especially something yummy like tortellini, and call it quits??
