I thought I'd share this with you- please let me know if anyone else looks into it and can see anything in it that I didn't
I bought New Woman magazine tonight and they have a promotion running with LA Fitness for 4 weeks free membership. The catch is that you need to sign up to a direct debit mandate for 12 months membership BUT once you've signed up for it, you can then cancel your direct debit (which doesn't start til the month's trial is up anyway)
We have an LA Fitness near us, so I've given it a go. I think they're counting on people not being organised enough to cancel the direct debit, but the date's in my diary.
I thought I'd share as for the organised it seems a pretty good deal to vary your fitness routine.
I'm only actually going for the pool and jacuzzi (that's why I cancelled my last gymn membership- it was costing me £40 to sit in a bath that I now do for free)
Hmm. This leads to all sorts of interesting questions in my head. One of my colleagues joined LA Fitness yesterday. A closet New Woman reader? It's one of my MALE colleagues...
I have a gym membership so I'll probably give it a miss as the LA Fitness is near the gym I already have, if it was closer to home it might work for weekends but if I'm going to town I'll just go to my own I think.
