From what I've read about the "Jump Start Diet" (or as Good Morning America calls it "Make your Own Diet") it doesn't look like anything that hasn't been said an infinite number of times before. (Good Morning America will be featuring three women following their own diet and exercise plans for the next three months -

Most of the tips are great - after all, we've discussed them at length here at 3FC for YEARS now. And the idea of "making your own plan" has been discussed a bunch here as well - for example check out this thread from over a year ago in Maintainers:
